The number one trait that I assume to be why I am a caregiver is because I am a parent. And parents I think are the ultimate caregiver towards their children and others. I believe that I am a great one because I am understanding and caring towards anyone and everyone.

I enjoy working with people and most enjoy where I have one-on-one interaction with others. I enjoyed taking care of elder family members and would like to help others in this way. I have patience, loyalty and reliability. I have worked with from infants to elderly. I feel no matter what situation is everyone is a person / human being and deserve to have the up most respect and care.

I'm very patient and kind ,I don't mind taking direction or being told what to do.I spent 10yrs taking care of Alzheimer's clients Iv'e been told I;m the best.( which really means I don't mind answering the same question a 100 times a day)I really love the elderly,I love taking about they're younger days how they grew up,what the world was like.Any way i'm really proud of myself for always giving my all and staying with my client till the end.

My grandmother was my best friend when I was small which gave me a respect , and live fir elderly people. My sister was born deaf and mute , being that my grandmother raised her grand children I was the one who helped her care for the kids , so early in life in learned American Sign Language to help my grandmother and other family members communicate with my sister. At that time I knew I wanted to help others who couldn't help themself ! Being a Care Giver isn't just a job you have to have compassions and humility ! I'm a selfless hard-worker who believes in having compassion in a world like we live in we must not forget to be kind to one another , help one that is in need ! I enjoy being a care giver because I can make a difference in others lives ! A personal achievement of mines is helping homes-less Veterans in my last job get off the streets and giving them hope a an better future in assisting them in there personal goals, and providing the services they need in order to be successful in life , helping them get back on they feet brings me joy!
