I think the traits that make me a good candidate for caregiver are that I am empathetic to the client's situation, understanding that I am their to assist the client' in achieving their goals, and I'm an active listener and truly try to get a view of the entire situation going on. I have worked with many different populations with stronger emphases in mental health, developmental disabilities, and addiction and recovery. I have worked with clientele as young as 18 and as old as 90, so I am rather comfortable working with any age group.

I became a caregiver because that is what I love to do. I enjoy taking care of others. If someone is in need of something I am there to help. I have achieved a level of confidence in this career choice that allows me to help my patients at any level of care that is needed. I am a wife and a mother of three, I think I have experience in all levels of home care.

I will be a great person for this job is because I go above and beyond for anybody I work with or I work for , I'm here to love them like family and make them feel comfortable as possible , I enjoy working with people because we all need help one day and they give me sooo much love and joy being with them . I enjoy helping others. I am patient, gentle, empathetic and a very good listener. I believe any obstacle can be conquered with the right tools and a positive team on your side. Understanding, compassion and a positive outlook can make a world of difference in a person's life, including their overall health and well-being. I began working in the healthcare field at the age of 18. I believe I have found my true purpose in life. My goal with each individual is to provide excellent care while making them feel respected and at ease while helping to maintain a positive self image and feeling of independence. Seeing the look of pride and accomplishment in a person's eyes when setting and accomplishing a goal is very rewarding.

I have been a NA/CNA for 20 yrs now because I love caring for people. I enjoy seeing the people I care for progress in their recovery. Then by the time they are able to go home knowing that I was able to assist them and be part of their recovery journey is always wonderful. I've had many rewards throughout my 20 yrs as a caregiver. I am currently the outstanding employee of the month on unit at NKCH.

I have taken care of my grandfather FOR about 3 years prior to his passing. I am a very kind and caring individual. I am very overprotective when it comes to elderly. I don't like it when the much younger generation try to take advantage of them. I am very sympathetic to their pain weather ot emotional and or physical. I was a Certified Nursing Assistant for 5 years. Which alluowed me to experience taking care of the elderly in and out of facilities. The one thing that I enjoy most about taking care and helping them is learning from them and bonding with them. All that they ask is to be treated with respect and for someone to simply listen. When they dp something on their on time am amazed and always praising them for a job well done. I let them know throughout the day of how very proud of them I am. A personal achievement that I am proud of is being able to move to a new state and city and start fresh at a new life.

I started care giving early in life. I helped my grandmother who stuffed from diabetes & myasthenia gravis. I learned at a very young age how important is it to have someone caring & loving in your life. After my grandmother died I continued to care for my family members & as a income for my family. I enjoy making a difference in the lives of others, no matter how small it may be.

I am a mature, friendly and kind , intelligent, soft-spoken woman with a sweet sense of humor. (I do not smoke nor do any of my family members)I have devoted my whole life to caring for others. Children as well eldery or persons with physical limitations. I have experience to care for quadraplegics as well as dementia. I will treat your loved ones with dignity and respect . I only ask the same for myself from clients who hire me to care for your family members.

I have a very pleasant personality and I get along with people very well young and old. I enjoy being a caregiver because I feel like I'm giving something back. I love cooking for the senior citizens that is where my expertise come in and they all seem to really enjoy my cooking and my company sometimes making them laugh at the end of my shift and knowing that they ate well makes me feel good that is one of my best achievements is knowing that I've done the best to take care of my client.I have work as a caregiver since I was 14 my parents owned two nursing homes I began working in the kitchen preparing meals for the patience by the time I was 15 I was changing colostomy bags I've always worked with my family in the business and as I prepared their meds also bathe sometimes I had to feed manually to a client that may not have been able to feed themselves. I also have taking care of special needs children that are autistic. I have also had a lot of experience with patients that have Alzheimer's and Dementia stroke patients as well as diabetics very important and how their meals are prepared also know that dementia patients sometimes they need redirection when they're having a bad day. I totally understand what a family is going through when they see their loved ones go through this and I'm hoping that I can be a helping hand and comfort to my clients and their families. I have also had experience with HIV clients as well I am 61 years old and basically I have seen it all and enjoy what I do I am dedicated and I want to be there for my clients and their family
