Hello, First I'd like to share a few things about my experiences as a CNA/caregiver. I have always been a nurturing person first as a child and continuing through adulthood, It brings me great pleasure to help everyone I can. I started my career in 1993 by attending a State licensed class and being state certified to work as such. I have continued my education for 28 years now and I am told I bring great skill set to many homes and individuals. I have worked as a CNA in Hospitals, Home Health, Physical Rehabilitation Centers, Nursing Homes and Private Duty Requests. I enjoy them all. I've worked with Hospice,Alzheimer's, dementia, diabetes, strokes, obesity, bed bound clients such a paraplegic and quadriplegic, ALS clients, PTSD clients, schizophrenia clients, post surgical and more. I offer help with ADLs, showers, bed baths, exercise, meal preparation, vital sign checks, medication reminders, doctor appointments, and more.

The traits that help me to become a great caregiver is to be compassionate, loving, dependable, and trustworthy. Things that attracted me to be a caregiver is I enjoy talking with elder people and more so because I was the helping hand for my grandmother before her passing. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is the one on one conversations I have with my patient speaking on past life and obstacles they went through in life and how they survived. My personal achievement is I was able to nurse one of past patients back to health in the length of 3 wks to a month

I'm a dependable person I'm outgoing responsible. Caring for others and being their for them when they need me. The companionship for me . Graduation from high school and being a great mother

I started being a caregiver as a little boy after my uncle had an accident which left him unable to walk. I think I was about 9, which sounds pretty young by today's standards, but I realized the important responsibilities of a caregiver at that tender age, and my reliability allowed my aunt to work at her job. Later, when this same uncle and Aunt became sick and elderly, I was the one the family turned to for their care. I have always had a special place in my heart for the elderly, and I enjoy being in their presence. I enjoy helping people of all ages.

I was brought into care giving honestly by accident, but it was a great one. I found out that I love helping and assisting people, and I am good at it. I have a very strong presence, and I'm very respectful. I pride my self with that. I am always smiling and its definitely contagious l. I am very proud that all of my clients have referred me to their friends and family in the event they were to leave us, or no longer need my help. I love what I do and do my best at it. I will go above and beyond.. I don't mind cleaning, cooking, laundry, shopping. What ever your needs are I can meet them. Guaranteed.

I am a Certified Nursing Assistant with 5 years of experience. I am a compassionate person that takes pride in what I do. While I chose nursing as means of income, to help assist with the well-being of others is far more rewarding than any amount of money. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is knowing that the work that I do makes a difference in people lives whether I know them or not. The personal achievement that I am proud of is becoming a Certified Nursing Assistant before finishing high school.

I chose nursing because my grandparents had a horrible aide as I was coming up. I knew how gentle my grandma and papa were and the lady just didn't seem to care for her job.... I stepped in occasionally to help with medication and bathes my favorite part was and remains the companionship I was able to prove. I moved on to obtain my certificate of nurses aide it's an rewarding. My Personal achievement has yet to come.

I have a true passion for what I do and genuinely love my job. I am currently going to school to become an RN and eventually plan to own my own assisted living home. I have had the pleasure of working with some pretty incredible families and I'm really excited to continue caregiving as I continue my education.
