I am very passionate about the work that I do. I believe that each care plan should be individualized; and each person's needs should be evaluated and assessed on a regular basis. I enjoy the creativity that is involved with being a Caregiver, and I equally enjoy the amazing persons with whom I come into contact. In terms of my personal achievements, the one that I am the most proud of is my success and graduation from two Universities. I have a degree in both Nutrition Science and in Nursing. Similarly, I am certified in Basic Life Support, and I have an active license to practice as a Registered Nurse. In my spare time, I enjoy gardening and watching sports. My schedule is very flexible, and I work dutifully to meet the clients needs.

I became a caregiver 9 yrs, ago. it all began when my aunt was admitted in to a nursing home facility. my grandmother would go visit her on a daily and every day after school I would go with her and every day my aunt would be in the same situation. soiled, left in bed for hours. with bed sores all over her from not being reposition. So from tht day forward I had vow that I would become a nurse or a caregiver. I vowed that I would do my best to make sure tht every patient that I came in contact with will have the best care tht I could provide. it brings me joy that I can help them physical or emotionally. I look at each and everyone of them as my own family. I believe with tht brings out the best in all of us to want to do our best. my best achievement is not of any awards but the reward of being there to my best for my patients to put a smile on there face and for them to feel of importance and to let them knw their voices matters.

I have more than 15 years of clinical experience working with adults. I am a licensed Registered Nurse. I have precepted new graduates, and I have had my certification as a Medical Surgical nurse and in Basic Life Support, and in Acute Care Life Support. I am passionate about caregiving, and I enjoy working with those clients with dementia. I have volunteered with the Alzheimer's Association for the past 5 years. I enjoy helping patients with medication management and skin care. I am able to think critically, and I enjoy working as a member of a cohesive team. I also have experience working with end of life care and palliative care, and I enjoy those disciplines.

I knew I wanted to become a caregiver because I love the elderly! Not only that but I knew one day I wanted to become a nurse and I knew that becoming a CNA would give me a great foundation. I'm very sweet and loving towards the elderly!

Hi my name is Emily Webner I grew up being the youngest so being around older people doesnt scare me. After I finished high school I decided I wanted to go out and help where it was needed. I tend to get along great with the elderly people. I became a caregiver to help the elderly with things they could no longer manage.

I became a "care giver" actually by chance. After graduation from college, I did not immediately have employment, and I met the care needs of elderly family members. I realized that, in fact, I enjoyed it, and decided to further the art of "giving care." Working with clients gives me an amazing sense of satisfaction. Each case is individualized, and each case requires a degree of critical thinking. I feel confident that I am able to "think critically" and to work with other members of the care team to personalize the treatment plan. My graduating from college is a personal achievement for which I am proud. And, that fact does lend some description to myself. I am also a volunteer for the Alzheimer's Association, and I am an avid sports fan and gardener.
