My names are Anne Marion. I am a dependable and compassionate caregiver. I have been working in the home care industry for 6years. I pride my self on being able to quickly learn and adapt to any situation. In the past, i have assisted clients with there activities of daily living such as bathing, toileting, home exercise, taking vital signs, and maintained a clean household. I try to connect with my client spending time with them, going for a walk and driving to shopping and appointments. Sometime I assisted with laundry, cooking and house keeping depending on what the client ask.

I have a great 13 years professional experience as a certified Nursing assistant/ care giver. I love/enjoy to help others and to see my clients getting comfort and recover from many situations in their home. I had great attachment with my grandparents as I grew and my mom was a practitioner nursing. I am willing to learn and listening others need. I am so proud to be a mother and side to side caring my clients. The great accomplishments I done and always proud Finished my nursing prerequisite and achieved four years callage. Never give up instead try in different ways till I resolve.

I have over 10 years experience as a caregiver. I have worked for home health care agencies as well as private clients. I have also worked as a live in care giver. In my career as a caregiver, I have worked with clients with various conditions including dementia, Alzheimer's, stroke, diabetes, cancer treatment, hospice. I enjoy working as a caregiver because it is a rewarding job. I get satisfaction in knowing that I was able to be of help to my clients in their time of need. It gives me joy hearing my clients appreciate the help am able to offer. I am very observant and pay attention to detail, because of that, I am able to offer recommendations to my clients and aides that will make their everyday living easier. I am kind, patient and I take care of my clients as I would my own family or as I would love someone else to take care of my family. Most of the families I have worked with over the years are now part of my family.

I started of in the caregiving field with taking care of my grandfather. In the process I got to learn a lot and I did enjoy doing it. I treat every client like my own family with love and compassion. Every client had different needs, so I get to understand the client first and foremost. I mostly enjoy the learning process in caregiving, no matter how long one has been a caregiver, we get to learn new things every time. I once had a client who had dementia (late stage), who did not want to go to bed (it was late at night). One thing that the client enjoyed was watching animal documentaries . I showed the client pictures of different animals that I had taken when I went to Kenya and the client calmed down and I was able to redirect the client to bed. My patience with the client helped me assure the client that I was on her side. This scenario really made me proud of the caregiver that I'm becoming. I love what I do.

My expertise comes along when I started working in rehabilitation I gained a lot of experience on how to take care of elderly, how age changes attitude in human being and how to deal with it. After I took care of my grandmother that's when I get interest in caregiver and I enjoy being a caregiver because I surely change older peoples life and somehow proud of this because one family told be that due to my care I gave their mother more years to live because she had companion and someone to take her out while family is busy.
