What makes me a great caregiver is that I am compassionate and empathize with my clients. I am there to help them, YES but I want them to feel that I care about them and will be there when they need me. I became a caregiver and chose this path for myself because I know what it feels like to have no one beside me and also does my grandmother and that's why I have been by her side . Its something about putting a smile on another persons face or picking them up when they aren't feeling so well, gives me a certain type of strength and confidence knowing that I can do that for a person that needs it the most. I also take my work very seriously and I am a very reliable and flexible.

I am an honest person, patient, I am keen to details, I am open to experience, I am empathetic, I am compassionate thus the reason as to why I chose to be a caregiver and since I have an experience rooted back in childhood whereby I was taking care of my grandparents up until they passed on when I was at the age of 22 years old. So, I enjoy working with people and I enjoy jobs where I interact with older adults since I feel I can get along well with them and I believe I can be a good companion too. I am able to identify a problem and solve it if it is within my scope of work, I am creative that I can come up with a new idea that may improve things if allowed to. I am a Navy Veteran. I received the Purple Heart for my efforts in Afghanistan. I've also received multiple Navy medals and achievements while serving in Iraq, Kuwait, humanitarian missions, and here in the states. I have learned to be patient, compassionate, thorough, very dependable, trustworthy, honest and attentive. I am a wife for twenty years to a Navy Doc on a submarine, and a mother of two beautifully amazing daughters. My husband has served in the Navy for more than 20 years! Most of which being as a Submarine IDC, which is rare because it is so tough. He makes me proud everyday. I love my family and I love being able to say I help people for a living.

I have a great 13 years professional experience as a certified Nursing assistant/ care giver. I love/enjoy to help others and to see my clients getting comfort and recover from many situations in their home. I had great attachment with my grandparents as I grew and my mom was a practitioner nursing. I am willing to learn and listening others need. I am so proud to be a mother and side to side caring my clients. The great accomplishments I done and always proud Finished my nursing prerequisite and achieved four years callage. I love what I do as a caregiver, I love helping out or making vulnerable people feel cared for, loved and comfortable by all means because they deserve quality life. I once helped my grandpa at his old age even without any skills of caregiving by then. I ensured he had a quality life by attending to his needs and being his companion and this made him happy

Personally i have empathy and compassion to people with various condition like,pple with disability due to impairement,sickly pple who need my assistance. What i enjoy most,is when i give care to the client and help them gain their self confidence and treat them equally and with respect and by the end of the day is rewarding to see that person happy and fulfilled.

I being the first born in my family have done a lot of care in different areas. I was taught by my parents how to love,give attachment, attention, protection and help regardless the kind of situation. I've always been trying to help the elderly back home in severe cases and have been doing this out of my heart I was also a teacher and a counselor back home and this helped me very much to know how I can chip in and give some care I'm always happy when I see someone out of danger and is having some peace. This caregiving job is extremely good because when you are with your clients you relate with them and therefore you feel in the right place and in another family setting. I really enjoy because I feel them as my family forks. I've realized quite some reasonable changes generally in my clients lifestyle and health improvements .when I see they are confident and are trusting me for their care I feel good and honored, so I feel proud of my achievement.
