In the past, i have assisted clients with there activities of daily living such as bathing, toileting, home exercise, taking vital signs, and maintained a clean household. I try to connect with my client spending time with them, going for a walk and driving to shopping and appointments. Sometime I assisted with laundry, cooking and house keeping depending on what the client ask.

What makes me a great caregiver is that I am compassionate and empathize with my clients. I am there to help them, YES but I want them to feel that I care about them and will be there when they need me. I became a caregiver and chose this path for myself because I know what it feels like to have no one beside me and also does my grandmother and that's why I have been by her side . Its something about putting a smile on another persons face or picking them up when they aren't feeling so well, gives me a certain type of strength and confidence knowing that I can do that for a person that needs it the most. I also take my work very seriously and I am a very reliable and flexible.

To me giving care is a calling, also I like treating our seniors the way I would like to be treated when I become one.

I am kind hearted, very patient. I love to cook healthy meals and am very watchful of fluid intake also. I do enjoy helping people and understand that they can indeed suffer from loneliness in their lives. I am very willing to be their friend and play cards, games whatever, to help ease the loneliness. I am a Navy Veteran. I received the Purple Heart for my efforts in Afghanistan. I've also received multiple Navy medals and achievements while serving in Iraq, Kuwait, humanitarian missions, and here in the states. I have learned to be patient, compassionate, thorough, very dependable, trustworthy, honest and attentive. I am a wife for twenty years to a Navy Doc on a submarine, and a mother of two beautifully amazing daughters. My husband has served in the Navy for more than 20 years! Most of which being as a Submarine IDC, which is rare because it is so tough. He makes me proud everyday. I love my family and I love being able to say I help people for a living.

Born and raised in Johannesburg South Africa. Graduated my BS Biology (premed) in 2021 from Southern Utah University. I have been caregiving for about 3 years. Caregiving has been a rewarding experience because I get to know clients while making a positive impact in their lives .
