I am 31 yes of age A mother of four very loving boys ages 5, 7, 10, and 12, I am a very motivated person love to care for others I'm a peoples person that is looking forward to advance to a new level of care giving. I have had the pleasure of being around a lot of different personalities seen and learned a lot enjoys being able to make someone family feel safe, I am proud to say I have been in care giving for the last 5 years and I look forward to my journey ahead with more family's.

I have found that my passion/calling is to care for the elderly and/or individuals, who can't do so for themselves. My heart is overwhelmed with genuine happiness when providing care and/or maintaining a personal relationship with each resident, client, and/or patient. I sincerely love fulfilling my heart's desires & passion by providing care, love, companionship, friendship, and even medical care to individuals; resulting in them having a sense of peace, as they go through life changes and having to deal with situations that may be unfamiliar. I find that doing so & providing the utmost respectful care to each of them, brings forth a growth for even myself, as I continue my education into becoming an RN (later to bridge into Nurse Practitioner). Daily, I am seeking the latest knowledge and skill so hopefully I can improve my care traits daily, to a wider/higher demand of clients. I am most definitely proud of a personal achievement in my life pertaining to my husband (who was diagnosed with late stages of Testicular cancer twice)! After receiving a prognosis of 18 months, I decided to further my education & resources, in hopes to find more options....and I did! After nearly 2 years, he is now in remission & cancer-free! This is not to boast about what I did, but instead the 'determination, drive, & passion', that I was blessed with. I will ALWAYS go above & beyond in providing the best care for clients & their family members! I believe there is always room for growth and in order to do so, you must first humble yourself to what you were called to do, whatever that may be!

What makes me a great caregiver? It is passion for helping people. I first knew that I wanted to care for people when my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer when I was 18 years old. I took care of my two younger brothers. Since then, I have been caring for people. My heart goes out to those who can't take care of themselves, that is why I do everything in my power to make the ones I care for feel like they exist and to have purpose in life. It makes me feel so good to know that I can make somebody feel so good about him or her self.

I have been a cna for over 20 yrs . worked in nursing homes , hospital, homeheath aid and hospice. I love being able to care for people and hopefully make things easier for them .i love to hear peoples storys

Hello! My name is Logan, I chose to be a caregiver because after I graduated High School, my grandfather raised me all of my life and his life was cut short due to internal issues. It was really that moment on I knew I wanted to have something to do in the medical field. Help provide care and assistance to families of need. I have been a PCT for over 2 years now, I am currently in college working towards my RN degree. What I enjoy most about being a Caregiver/PCT is that I help people in need of assistance, it's a great feeling knowing I can help people.

I have 10 years experience as a caregiver, this is my compassion. I have worked at Grandview, Brookwood and UAB West hospitals. I work with demetia, ALS, fall risk, cancer, bed bound and other illnesses. I prepare meals, baths, and medications. I also do laundry, light housekeeping, run errands and a good companion. I started being a caregiver taking care of my grandmother for 2 years before she passed. I enjoyed all the old time stories and the laughter about the old days. I have two special needs children of my own, I am 100% positive that I will exceed your expectations in caring for your loved one. it takes a special person with a great amount of live, compassion and patience. My son is almost 10, he has a rare genetic deletion which allowed all these mental/physical health problems. he was diagnosed at 9 months old with bilateral retinoblastoma and underwent 8 rounds of chemo and radiaton and had to have a central line that I had to be trained on how to flush daily and change his site dressing . He also has low functioning autism , he's still in diapers at 10, non verbal, blind in his right eye from the cancer. My daughter is almost 8 and was born with a genetic problem as well. She's has teribleood swings, ADHD, seizures and other mental problems. Sorry if I have over explained I just feel that some of you would like to know that I walk in the same steps as many of you do on a daily basis.
