Hi, my name is Brianna and the things that make me a great caregiver are compassion, patience empathy and willingness to do whatever it takes to help someone. I have been a cna for 5 years now and have worked in just about every health care setting and with all types of patients, Caregiving is not just a job. It is a chance to help someone else's situation or life be a little easier. It's a way to show someone cares about them and in return those who help actually end up learning something from those they help. What i really enjoy most about being a caregiver is the conversation and stories about their lives and to see how no matter how different we could be their are still similarities found . Everyone needs to have personal goals and achievements. I am proud of all my achievements in my life but my top two are graduating from college and having my son. Two things I have always wanted since I knew what I wanted to be and do in life.

I'm a God fearing, transparent , easy going lady and ready to work under no supervision. After completing my high school, i started taking care of my grand parents and this attracted me to be a caregiver when I came here in the U.S. Since the most people I have been taking care of in this field of caregiving are old, I enjoy most especially socializing with them and learning more from them. My personal achievement; I'm proud of is taking good care of people the way i would also like to be taken care of .

Hey, I'm Shakara Boles and for over the last 2 years and 4 months I been working with resident in a nursing home. I have a bachelors in psychology. But some where along the way I just fell in love with taking care of people. I knew that I wanted to help people but did not know it was by becoming a CNA. I'm very hardworking, determined, kind hearted, loving, and caring. Also ontop of working I am a mother of a 5 year old daughter and 6 months ago added another child into my daily routine my 4 year old niece. I'm a cheer coach ontop of that but never is to busy to take care of everything that's need to be done. I really didn't know what I would be doing after graduating school but before I graduated from college; I took a CNA course to make extra money but after doing it for so long I just fell in love with it all and I just couldn't leave it. I enjoy every moment about being a caregiver because I know I'm making a big difference into someone else life especially someone family member that they care for. It's never a dual moment having this as a career but it helps motivate you and keep you up on your toes to make sure that someone that is not related to you get all the help they need. I am proud of everything I have accomplish in my life time because I'm making a future that not only for me but my child and niece as well. One thing I am proud of that I can say is that becaming a CNA was the best decision I made because it helped me to become a better person and my love has grown even more because of this. I would not change any decision I made to become one.

My career goal is to be an assisted living administrator, so I'm trying to get as much experience as I can in the long term care industry. I have been a caregiver for almost three years. I am very kind, patient, compassionate, and understanding. Some of the people who I take care of are like family to me because I see them a lot.

I am a compassionate, patient, and dependable caregiver who values providing respectful, client-centered care. I was drawn to caregiving because I enjoy helping others feel safe, supported, and comfortable during vulnerable times. What I enjoy most is building trusting relationships and knowing my presence can positively impact someone's daily life. One personal achievement I am proud of is balancing school, work as a Patient Care Technician, and family responsibilities while continuing to grow professionally.

I became a caregiver because i love taking care of the elderly and people as a whole. Being able to give quality care at a high level of gratitude and expectation is what motivates me. One of the things I'm most proud of is a time when i walked in on a resident at the nursing facilities where i worked and his countenance just didn't look right so i asked the resident was he ok. He said yes but i just didn't have peace about it,so i called the nurse. To my surprise, he was on the verge of having a stroke due to the fact that i went to check in on him saved his life in time. And for that, I'm forever greatful.

I enjoy working with people. I'm very empathetic. I'm a great worker. I think patience and compassion are essential. This is a job that requires a lot of tolerance for challenging situations, and good communication and a positive attitude also go a long way. Additionally, you need endurance and physical ability to support patients with certain tasks.I enjoy being able to help others in ways they can't .

I am a great caregiver because I care! I personally feel that because of the type of care my biological grandmother and adoptive mother provided to me from their own angle, is what attracted me to being an individual that is able to help others in ways that they can't...in a healthcare way. I enjoy listening to people. Sometimes companionship is all they need or want. I'm currently proud that I have extended my experience as a caregiver by enhancing my learned skills and turning my worth into something greater by gaining education to pursue a career as a nurse I'm the next 2-3 years.
