I have ALWAYS enjoyed being needed and helping others out. I would be the girl running to grab bandaids for my friends if they needed one. Iv always been caring and enjoy caring for others. That is a big part of my personality ! It is so enjoyable to be involved in elderly lives ! I find it so rewarding to help those who have lived their life. What a privilege it is and while they might be done living their "best" life, I enjoy bringing them ease and comfort. A part of me feels like I help them enjoy life even though it's not the life they use to have. I have worked with clients on chemo, altimeters, dementia, and gastrointestinal disorders. It has shown me how you come off and say things make a HUGE difference in their every day life. I like to keep it as simple as possible, as stress free as possible, and as comfortable as possible. This makes life easy. I am proud I have found through experience these little tactics out. I absolutely LOVE caregiving. It helps prepares me for my future roles as a further my career. Hmm...about me? When I took the class to become certified, I had no idea the impact it would have on my life, much less, how it would impact the person I am today. I think being personable and empathetic are important qualities that have been enhanced throughout the last nine years. I never put much though into becoming a caregiver, it just kind of came about, but now I feel like its a way for me to step away from "self." Whatever may be going on in life gets left at the door or at the time clock, then I step into another "self." Its hard to describe the way this type of work makes me feel which, in turn, has a positive affect on my job performance and I like to think people can see this shine through in my personality. I can honestly say that I'm happy to have gained the friendships, knowledge and experience I wouldn't have otherwise had a chance to gain. My most recent personal achievement is being enrolled to start on online classes to take the next step in the healthcare feild.

Having a Great Grandmother that suffered from a Stroke , and Alzheimer's Dementia To watching my Grandmother a woman that raised me be defeated by Cancer, is where my care and compassion began . At an early age I was forced to help take care of two of the most influential individuals in my life and although it was hard seeing them in that state of health and mind . I also felt it was my DUTY to repay them With the care , love , and compassion I was given as a child . In the latter years they passed away but the urge to help those in need Continued to tug at me .. so at the age of 19 while I was pregnant with my first son I decided I would take a cna course get my license and help other families in need. I did just that , I took a one month course in April of 2011 and by May of 2011 I took my State Board test and was certified ! I know for my family in general with my Great Grand and Grandmother. It was very complicated to find Good Genuine Help that we could trust with our loved ones .. now don't get me wrong I never said that we didnt eventually get the help needed but in the early stages it was HARD.. and trying to provide care, compassion , love and etc to my loved ones while trying to work full time and take care of my family was hard . I've been there soo I get it , and that's why I decided to take initiative to help make it a little less complicated and stressful to the next family . We were all placed upon this earth for a purpose , and those purposes vary from person to person ... My purpose is to help be a Blessing , Friend, and Caregiver to someone in need.

I have over 20 years of experience and I love helping people. I take care of my patients as if they are my own loved ones. Certified in CPR and first aid. CNA,  HHA, LTC.
