Four years ago I retired from nursing. Recently, I moved to Phoenix Arizona to be near family. I have one married daughter in Phoenix where I presently reside, and another married daughter in Peoria. My daughter and son-in-law in Peoria have one daughter and are currently expecting their second child. Prior to moving here, my most recent pertinent work experience was as a homecare non-medical provider to an senior woman in her Kansas home. Though hired as "non-medical care provider" much of my assistance with this woman did revolve around her medical needs as she was an end-stage cancer patient, as well as diabetic. I helped manage her medication schedule, transportation and ensuring she went to medical/doctor appointments. I also monitored her daily health needs such as blood pressure, blood sugars, etc. I would like to care for you or a loved one in your home, and assist you with some of your care needs. I am willing to assist with light housekeeping, meal preparations, exercise/physical therapy programs, transportation and occasional errands or grocery shopping. I enjoy reading, baking, music, walking and spending time outdoors, as well as spending time with my family. I would be delighted to come work for you! --Freida McMahon
I am searching for 8 hours minimum of work per day or more, flexible to live in also. 1. I became a Certified Nursing Assistant, CPR certified, and HHA, Home Health Aide in the early 90s. I have been certified ever since. I was working as a waiter in a RETIREMENT HOME, when I became involved in care without not knowing it, as I enjoyed helping the residents of the facility. Harriet Brown one of many residents there, thanked me for helping when someone needed it. She stated to me and others that I went the extra mile to assist others. 2. I Love to help people, I like to be in the right place at the right time to assist them. 3. It is very important that I make my clients/patients smile and feel comfortable. 4. I am a good companion, active person, super clean, and willing to help. I am a good listener and like to learn from every experience. We never stop learning, we never know everything. What makes me a good caregiver is that I want to be there when you need me. I have been an RN for some years now. And I am retiring this month.
I have always had a desire to serve others. I joined the US Army in 2001 to serve my country and left Honorably in 2013 to pursue a nursing career. As a Registered Nurse, I am rewarded daily by the clients I serve. I live to bring a smile to someone's face, and I will always have a smile on mine. No matter what our circumstances as individuals, it is always our duty to care for others, and we will never regret giving of ourselves. My experience as a Registered Nurse has been on Medical-Surgical and Medical ICU settings. I am certified for Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support. I am familiar with many medications and able to work around special equipment, such as ventilators, ostomies, etc. I am able to assist with activities of daily living, cleaning, wound care, medication administration, and much more. Most importantly, I am an advocate who understands that each person requires and deserves individualized, loving care.
I am a caregiver by nature. I am compassionate. I enjoy being around people and working with them in their homes so that I can help them enjoy their lives to the fullest. I have worked as a Nurse for almost 15 years and have experience with all different types of clients, with a vast array of needs and I have enjoyed them all.

Im always learning something new. Ive been working in healthcare since fall of 2004. I have been in the field of Nursing for more than twenty years, caring for all kinds of people, from babies & young children to seniors. Most of my work as a Nurse has been in Home Health and Hospice Care, as well as Alternative Medicine. I love my work and deeply enjoy being of service to others. I am a deeply spiritual person, without being overly religious, and I strive to see the goodness and divinity within each person that I meet. I have had experience in all areas of Nursing, and I am very proficient with my clinical skills. In addition to being a Registered Nurse, I was trained as a Medical Social Worker, and this training has been of great value as I work with people who are ill and facing difficult challenges and I work with the family members as well. I am very aware of the difficulties and challenges that families face when a loved one is ill and disabled, and I make myself available to the those family members as well as the patient, knowing that they are also in need of support and care. I see every day as a special gift, and every moment as an opportunity to serve, to love and to experience the joy and sweetness of this gift we call life, even when life is full of challenges and pain.
I am a great caregiver because I know how to advocate for my patient. I have excellent nursing skills which include patient assessment, critical thinking and compassion. I am always trying to broaden my knowledge base in my field. Currently I am enrolled and have started a Critical Care Course. I enjoy the diversity in nursing , meeting and working with people with various backgrounds and beliefs. I am honest, open and willing to be of service to others. I will be a wonderful asset for any company who is about helping others.
