I am an extremely capable and compassionate individual with initiative, who goes beyond the expectations of an employer. I am enthusiastic to get a caregiver position at a private household, where i can utilize my qualifications and care giving skills, to provide the client with the best care to keep them safe and comfortable.
I care a lot about the elderly. I first started out in this profession helping my father after my mother passed away. He was 75 and needed help with meals and cleaning the home, plus driving him to appointments. I also took care of my dad's sister, after her husband passed away. Helped with meals, took her to any appointments she had and helped with any cleaning around her home. She was 80 at the time and really needed my help. I've also taken care of friend's family members and also a girlfriend of my sisters who had surgery and needed someone with her for 3-4 days post op. It was a great experience doing that and feeling good about helping others. I enjoy the work that I do and look forward to meeting new clients and helping them with getting on with their daily lives. (i''M GOING TO BE MOVING SOON TO THE INLAND EMPIRE AREA . I hope to find a live In situation for Companion/Caregiving job. Please contact me if that's something that can help you out). Thank You, Nancy.
I'm a compassionate and caring person. At this time I am looking to continue my career in a position where I am able to be of help to the elderly. I thrive in situation where I'm able to act as an encouragement and treat my care recipient like family. I have 16 years of experience in this capacity.
I am a great caregiver because I truly enjoy what I do, and therefore it shows! I could not ask for a better job than helping someone in need. It is the most fulfilling job in the world. After many years of doing assorted jobs, (including wedding and portrait photography) I finally found something that truly fulfills me, in every way! I really love it! Please call me for my current availability, as it can change! I have a very easy-going, friendly personality; and I get along with most everyone, (which I think really helps me enjoy what I do!) I love all animals, so if you have a dog or a cat, I will make sure they are also taken care of as part of the family! I enjoy cooking and keeping a clean home, and I drive, so I can take you to your appointments, shopping trips or meetings.

My favorite quote is: "Why read a book when you can go to work and hear a new beautiful story from your patient everyday."

I am a very respectable person who have been working in the nursing field for over 18 years being very honest, loyal, flexible, dedicated, trustworthy, loving and compassionate towards others. My passion for helping people above all, comes from within. My inspiration for taking care of people came from my grandmother who one day told me that I would be a great nurse because I was so loving and patient towards her. I think my proudest moment is putting a smile on someone's face knowing that I did something good for them to feel better with themselves. That alone speaks volume to me. I love what I do and I will continue to make an impact in people's lives if God's willing. Looking forward to meeting and helping people with their daily needs and making them feel good with themselves again.
I am a retired special education teacher and became interested in caregiving when my mother suffered from a long illness. Some mistakes were made in her care by her HMO, which prompted me to want to learn more about the medical field, how to read diagnostic tests, and principles of nursing care. I have completed the CNA and HHA courses and received licenses for both. I have also taken several other classes in nursing, gerontology, and end of life care and hope to be an in-home caregiver to supplement my income. I am seeking part-time or on-call assignments as a relief caregiver, as I still substitute teach during the days during the school year.
