I have always wanted to be a caregiver. Back home in Ghana, it was a dream and a reality of mine. I took care of my beloved grandparents at a young age and enjoyed doing it. I loved working and taking care of them and cherished all the life and cooking tips from them. I strongly believed it was what I was meant to do. When God allowed me to move to America, a family friend explained to me that I could take care of other people's grandparents. Ever since I have worked hard to satisfy the families and most importantly the elderly I've worked for.

I'm a mother of 3, I love and cherish every moment of life! I have 6 siblings and all were boys other then my baby sister who was raised with her dad majority of the time, so being the only girl with five brothers I felt almost entitled to helping take care of them. Almost like a second mom. I feel like that is where most of my passion for taking care of others started. I grew up down the road from an adult foster care so when I was 12 I started helping there from time to time and my passion for caregiving grew and grew. My grandfather raised me most of my childhood & if he were ever placed in a facility of even just needed help from time to time at his home, l I hope and pray that someone like myself who is so passionate about caretaking is there to provide help to him. I've been a caregiver over 20yrs. I enjoy taking care of people. Specially the elders of are nation. They have taken care of us to make are lives easier and comfortably, so I think they deserve to be taken care of in their golden years.
