I have experience with various health conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, blindness, kidney disease, wound care, GERD, teach care, dialysis patients and more. What attracted you to being a caregiver? I have worked in healthcare for over 17 years. I am a former medical assistant at UCSF and Kaiser Permanente. What do you enjoy most about being a caregiver? I enjoy caring for patients and being a companion, they can enjoy. It brings joy to my heart knowing that I helped someone get through the day, night or through a difficult time in their life when they have an ailing medical condition. What is a personal achievement you are proud of? My children who are 23 and 17 and obtaining my Bachelor's degree in business management .

I am a certified medical assistant that has 9 years of experience. I've worked on call at hospitals such as UCSF, Kaiser, Alameda health systems, etc. I have experience working in pediatrics, adult medicine, wide range of specialties such as oncology, bariatrics, neurology, acupuncture just to name a few. I would be a great fit because I have developed a wide range of skills as a medical assistant working in different departments. I also love to learn new things!

Though I am currently certified as a Medical Assistant, I had volunteered at Samaritan House Medical clinic, later became a paid employee.I have several past years of experience as Nursing assistant and caregiver. I became a caregiver because I like to work with people help them out some struggle more than others. I'm a very attentive hard worker, motivated person if I can lend a hand and assist that's what I will continue to do.

I ve been a caregiver since i was 12 years old taking care of my uncle who had diabetes 2 and wheelchair bond and my uncle had demetia. I also help my great aunt cook and clean her open wounds to working as a medical assistant and then becoming a CNA and working in an assisted living at a lock down demetia unit with a total of 20 residents. Also ive done caregiving for a company called visiting angels and i was hired on as a caregiver then made my way up to training new hires . So i believe ive had alot of experience to get the job done ..

I have always liked taking care of people, especially people who are very vulnerable and fragile. I think they need a lot of love and compassion. I am very empathetic and supportive towards the pain and suffering of others. I like that people feel good about me when I make them a gourmet or creative dish, we talk, we play, or we go to the park. See how their faces light up with joy when they feel accompanied. That is something that I like of the caregiver job!
