I began caregiving over twenty years ago when my sister became sick and I seen that good caregivers were hard to come by. I started in assisted living facilities and branched out from there. I am a very happy, caring and responsible woman who loves to see people happy and living the best life they can. I am a very responsible person who cares a lot about people and their needs. I was caregiving for a man that was on complete bed care and the only thing he wanted was to go to the barbershop to get a hair cut instead of the barber coming to him. So I got him in a chair and walked him a couple of miles down the street to make it happen. He was so happy and just seeing him happy and feeling independent again was so rewarding to me. But moments like that remind me that it is the little things in life that we take for granted that mean so much to people.
