Hi my name is Debra and I have been a caregiver for 9 years. And the reason why I continue this career is I love helping people and to see their condition improve. Especially working with the Geriatric. I love to hear their life stories. And I care about these patients. Also, their families know they can trust me with a family member. My personal achievement: I am most proud of is when my assignment is completed we are sad to part and I know have done a good job and to also, receive a great letter of recommendation. Infact I have a couple of letters from past clients. My personalijty traits: I am easy going and I prefer to cater to my client and to make sure they have all that they need while I am on duty with them. And to make sure that their family does not have to worry about anything while they are in my care. Or shift.

I have been a certified Medical Assistant for over eight years. Therefor my scope is wider then a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). I have many years of work experience working with Geriatric population. My certification and BLS CPR are current. I am available for evening care and weekends.

I love the medical field and helping others in need. I got involved in care giving over 25 years ago while working for an Oncologist and seeing how families struggled to meet home health needs that some insurances didn't cover. I have experience being hands on in home and also at a care facility. I am also working volunteer for American Red Cross and registered with the state which means I have been back ground checked. I have experience working with memory care and hospice. My goal is to deliver superior service, dependability and compassion for those in need. It is my mission to bring a special energy and positive attitude to each relationship I am blessed to be a part of.I want to provide peace of mind and trust to the family and friends that their loved one is receiving the love and dignity they deserve. My greatest achievement has been caring for my own father this last year who passed from stage 4 pancreatic cancer. he was on hospice and we were able to keep him at home. I consider myself to be very positive, have a great attitude and amazing personality. I love being able to help people out. It's an amazing feeling to know we can help our elderly community and make a difference. I enjoy most being able to have a connection with my patients, being able to connect and learn from them. I am proud of who i have become from working with our elderly community. Every single one of my patients has given me an amazing experience to learn from.

As a Caregiver, I go above and beyond to assure that the clients needs are always met.. Initially, I became a Caregiver when my grandmother was diagnosed with dementia.. I enjoy helping others who are in need. At the end of each day/night, I always look forward to that beautiful smile on my clients faces.
