It is important to me as a caregiver that I support and promote independence. My objective is to provide safety and security while ensuring my client's dignity.

I truly believe to be an excellent caregiver you must put the clients needs & feelings first. I strive to make sure all my clients maintain their sense of normalcy and dignity. I have experience with caregiving for clients that are under the age of 10 & over the age of 80. On a personal note: I was my mothers caregiver for the last 2 years of her life. She was on & off of hospice while she battled a liver & lung disease. Currently, I'm a Respite Worker for clients that have a range of health issues. (Downs Syndromes, Deafness, Autism Spectrum Disorder) I have completed my Senior Caregiver training required by the state of California to attain a license as a home care aide. I have also completed several Carelinx education courses & I am open to taking any class my client might request. My goal is for future clients & their families to feel ease of mind that I am a capable caregiver.

My Name is Jacqueline and I am an honest, compassionate, reliable person. I love meeting new people and the love I have for people is what brought me to this kind of work. I have dementia and Alzheimer's experience. What attracted me to become Personal care Aide is the love, patience and compassion I have. Knowing that they depend on me as their caregiver to make sure they're living comfortable Is my top priority. I love to see my clients happy. I am a 21 year old female. Before becoming a caregiver I was taking care of my grandmother when she was diagnosed with cancer. I was assisting her with transferring, toileting, bathing, meal preparation, companionship, and etc. I also have experience with home care and facilities for over a year now. I speak English and Spanish, I do love pets so I am fine with dogs and cats. I have my own vehicle and license so I have reliable transportation I can also assist with appointments. I enjoy most about caregiving is my relationship with my client. I am great with building a healthy and positive relationship with my client. I am proud of having more experience and learning more as time goes by with caregiving which is one of my achievements.

Since I was a young child I loved helping people, so when I grew up I entered into healthcare field so i can continue doing what was so dear to my heart. I have over 10 years experience being a certified nurse assistant, home health aide and many other certifications.I love taking care of people and bring joy to them with the care they need. I first learned that I enjoyed patient-care back when I was a medical assistant in a private practice. I enjoyed learning and caring for others. I became a personal caregiver in 2005, and since then I have been able to assist many individuals and their families. I have found that my love for patient care today is done at a more personal level because every individual that I have assisted has their own personal needs; some need help with recovery, while others just need comforting and care through their aging process. By assisting patients in their home, to keep their routines, help them with medications, or just the in the simple act of being a good listener, I have found makes the world of difference to them--I am happy to have made a difference in someone's life. I am very proud of being a professional caregiver. Care-giving is an occupation which I have chosen and in many ways it has chosen me. My life has been influence by the many fine people of which I have had the privilege of knowing and providing care. I'm a great companion I enjoy playing cards dominoes Scrabble just about any board game at there is. I entered into this field because of my grandmother who I care for for many years before she passed on it's a joy to see a senior living there last year's happily
