I realized I fell in love with caregiving when going to work was less of work feeling and more of a it makes me happy feeling. I love my job because of my residents. They are what make it worth while for me. The type of serotonin I get from it makes for an amazing caregiving as myself. The bond I have held and compassion for my residents is on another level. They are my pride and joy and I love them so much. I have so much compassion in what I do and I am proud of what I do. That is what makes a good caregiver. I am patient with them and I try and understand their needs and wants. You need to have empathy as I have for them. I enjoy spending time with my residents but what I love most is seeing them heal. As I am also in a rehabilitation center, I strive to make them healthier and visually seeing that they are getting better makes me feel so happy. One of my biggest achievements as a nursing assistant is seeing them become better, most of my achievements are making the residents happier and that is so big to me, so thank you so much in advance for taking the next steps with me and you will not regret it.

I love caring & taking care of the elderly. Im a fast learner I have been a Cna/ Caregiver for 10yrs .I became a cna because I had sick family members who I cared for & loved doing so.

I became a caregiver when my father was diagnosed with cancer and I didn't want anyone else caring for my father but me & when he passed away I wanted to continue to care for others peoples loved ones as I would my own. I like being a caregiver because I love helping people it's always been apart of me to go out my way to help anyone I could. My personal achievement would be going to school and learning how to properly care for individuals. Well my name is Judith Marie Knox I'm 29 years old I have a son who just turned 9 my husband & I have been married 3 years the 14th of March. My favorite color is purple I love going out to eat & trying new foods. I love shopping & cooking I'm trying to get my body into shape so eating healthy is my new obstacle.

I am a great caregiver because I show compassion, I care a lot, I treat all my patients/residents with respect and treat them the way they'd like to be treated. I am very patient, caring, a great team worker but can also handle a lot on my own as well! I love what I do and I love and care for all of my residents.

I am an STNA (State Tested Nursing Assistant) and also CPR , First Aid, and AED certified. I have been working in the health field for almost 8 years. In June of 2010, I graduated from Ross Medical education in medical assisting. December 2010 is when I began working in health care. I have experience in home health care, private care, in a facility, hospital setting, independently through Medicaid, with Dementia/Alzheimer's and worked as an activities assistant. My experiences have been with individuals, couples and groups of residents. Working with rehab, long term care and dementia, I have gained an abundance of knowledge and experience. My job is to be here for your loved one/self. I am here to make sure ADL's are addressed and companionship is shared. Medication reminders, housekeeping, cooking, bathing, errands and anything else required or needed is what I am here for. I truly love what I do and hope to share that with you and your loved one.
