Every since I can remember I have had the desire to help people so decided at an early age that the Nursing/Caregiver occupation was what I wanted to pursue. After finishing Nursing school I worked as a CNA for many years until studying to become a Medical Assistant. I have been in the area for the past 25 years, working as a CNA, Medical Assistant, Nanny, and Caregiver, raising two boys, and now enjoying 4 grandsons. As I got older becoming a Caregiver/Companion is something I decided to concentrate on since it gives me great satisfaction to help someone on a one on one basis.
I am a very giving. and empathetic individual who takes pride in her work. It is very important to me to provide my patient and their family members from day one that they can trust me to be honest, kind, reliable, to always know that I am there for them 200% to provide the care they deserve for their loved one it is my priority and my responsibility to prove I am the best person for the job. I worked in The medical field for 12+yrs dealing with just about every age group I've also worked with senior citizens off and on through out those years I've worked with patients with diabetes , arthritis , Alzheimer's and post surgery patients I've also worked with patient in home and in nursing homes. No job is to much I enjoy what I do.
I became a care giver because I like to help people. Why did I become a caregiver? My eldest brother needed medical attention with wound care due to an car accident, so I was there to assist him with his everyday needs. what do I like about caregiving?
