I am a graduate of BSNursing in my country and when I got here being a caregiver is the closest to the career path I want to pursue. I am a Licensed Vocational Nurse here in California. I like being a caregiver because naturally I am a caring person. I do this job because someday when I grow old I would want someone to take care of me too. Helping the elderly is such an achievement because with their limited strength I can be their assistant in order to live a good quality of life and still get to do the activities they normally do. I am 36 yrs old with 2 loving children. I am from the Philippines and I came here in America 4 yrs ago. Caregiving has been my first job and it has brought me to different places and I've met a lot of wonderful people and family through this job. I would like to be able to help the families out there who are in need of help in taking care of their parents. There are so many things that we would like to do for our parents but because of the busy life and other priorities we need someone to be there for them when we cannot. I am willing to take part in giving the best care to your parents and make sure that they still get a good quality of life that they deserve.

I enjoy caregiving in the home setting because I can relate personally with the trials and tribulations that can happen when looking for genuine loving care, a piece of mind, a chance to get a little me time and do a little self care; to whether it be for a family member, long time family friend, loved one or a complete stranger. My grandfather actually two of them have passed away from Alzheimer's disease and dementia which began my journey of wanting to learn more about the two illnesses and how it is I can provide outstanding managed care with minimal episodes while ensuring safety, privacy, and piece of mind for clients families and friends. Hello, I'm Elizabeth V. a recent graduate from an accelerated nursing school. I am currently looking for work to keep me busy while I await my licensing exam. Growing up with my mother as a caregiver, it has opened many opportunities for me to grow in this field. My mom started taking me to work with her everyday after school, where she taught me all the necessities of being a caregiver. Being in this profession and becoming a care taker for someone is not just a job. It is a commitment of trust and honesty as well as the overall safety and well being of our clients. I believe I have the qualifications to accompany your loved ones in a their time of need. Best wishes, Elizabeth V.
