Hi! My name is Stephanie! I am currently a Urgent Care/ER technician and work 3-4 days a week, 12 hour shits. I am interested in caregiving on some of my days off as I used to take care of a sweet older couple who lived down the road from me. They have recently passed on but it brought out my passion for caregiving and helping people when I can! I am also a CNA but I did a lot of that in my 20's and am now interested in the lighter side of those duties, light lifting, daily living activities, helping around the house, and offering company!! I love getting to know people, I am kind and compassionate. I can do overnight on occasion and prn.

I became a caregiver because i enjoy helping others.I like the satisfaction of knowing that i am making someone else's life more tolerable and comfortable.I am proud to say that i have saved a few peoples lives when they stopped breathing or was choking, and i acted quick enough to do that for them.I have been a CNA for 30+ years. I will continue to help others until i can no longer serve them...love u all!

I care for a disabled girl with sizure disorder. I'm very proud she is doing better in her ADL.she did not walk. Now she uses a walker and has improved tremendously. I work hard and listen to her need. Made her happy by taking her out to enjoy the outdoors.

I began my healthcare journey by working in assisted living and memory care settings where i progressed in the field and recieved certifications such as nursing and medication administration. I am very dynamic in where I continue to elevate my career by continuously pursuing certifications, and education. What I enjoy most about my career is being able to advocate for patients and clients that have transitioned into assisted and clinical care, educating families and people of all backgrounds about the changes that come with aging. I have also served as a leader and trainer in my field, I am passionate about teaching caregivers the skills needed to provide our seniors with high quality, person centered care.

I have compassion and a heart for those who struggle, whether it be from injury, illness or just the aging process. I am very attentive and observant to the needs of the people that are in my care. I work very hard and am thorough in my duties. I am also, reliable and responsible. From the time I was little I have wanted to be a nurse. That desire has been cultivated through my life and experiences with watching and helping care for both of my grandparents struggle and pass away from cancer. During this process I spent many hours in hospitals and rehab, observing the caregivers they had and being blessed by the good ones. I enjoy the feeling of helping people in their times of their biggest need, whether it be physical or emotional. Feeling like I can make a difference in someone's life is my biggest blessing. I have recently graduated from high school, having all of my college prerequisites done for nursing school and in the process obtained my CNA and have been working with that in a nursing home.
