I have been a home health aide for over 13 yrs now, I have worked with all kinds of patients in both homes, hospitals and nursing facilities. I enjoy caring for the elderly and also helping them with their basic needs. With my medical background, I experience with different patients with different health problems with makes me more qualified up to any task assigned to.

My name is Dawn and I am 48 years old. I been in the healthcare field since 1996. I have worked in hospitals, nursing homes , private care and homecare facilities. I go beyond the call when it comes to my performance. Everywhere I ever worked I was always smiling and giving my clients life. It's not just a job, it's more of a vocation and a desire to serve people. I work part time nights at the hospital so my hours are flexible for your needs.

Helping people is what I dream of. I feel bless knowing that I can help someone who had lost the ability to help themselves. I like taking care of people that is what I am most passionate about. I am the best in this job, my clients always loves me because I take very good care of them and I always know what I am doing. I been working in the health care industry for over twenty years. I am well rounded I have seem many different kind of parients. I have work with patients who have dementia, alzheimers and different kinds of disabilities.

My best life work has been raising my son and daughter. While my son is grown, I have my daughter whom is my world. Recently, I've decided to return to the work force after being married for 15 years. Caregiving is a great way to continue the same compassion I have for raising my children, and share that with those whom need it.

I believe I am a kind, gentle, patient and compassionate caregiver. I've been taking care of my mother since I was four years old until she passed away in August of 2018. I am now taking care of my father who is suffering from Parkinson's Disease. I hope to become a nurse in the future but for now I would love to do what I am truly gifted at and that is taking care of others in need. I know that being a caretaker comes naturally to me. It brings me such joy being able to give others my assistance and comfort. I am proud of the time, love, support and dedication I gave to my mother. She was battling so many diseases and infections and it brought me inner peace knowing I was able to comfort her during those difficult times so she could relax and let her body heal. I can't think of anything else I would want to do with my life than to comfort and aid those who are in need of care.

I always wanted to be a nurse since I was a little girl. I love helping people and making them comfortable and happy. The one personal achievement is purchasing a home with my husband three years ago to raise our three boys. A personal achievement of mine is when I use to work at the hospital as a one on one care. The patient I was with had cancer, one day when I was not at work she passed. When I went back the next day the family came to see me, and told me what happened. It was personal achievement for me because we developed a bond.
