Hello, my name is Takia Hill, and I proudly provide (medical) services to those in need of care by offering a complete range of personal support and companionship services. I provide patients with one-on-one care in the privacy and comfort of their house or senior living community. I assist with day-to-day activities, including bathing, grooming, bathroom assistance, assistance with walks, gym time, and physical therapy. I also provide hands-on service with transportation and meal preparation according to patients' plans and needs. I make it a point always to allow and encourage residents to do as much on their own as possible while having the reassurance of my close supervision and encouraging words. I Provide direct and indirect patient care, Transport patients, via wheelchair or accompany ambulatory patients, and transfer and offer assistance during moving of patients into and out of wheelchairs, toilets, beds, and other equipment. I have experience with assisting patients requiring help with feeding, toileting, and all other ADL care. I am A loving, caring, and hardworking Home Health Aide with years of experience supporting and nursing elderly patients. My main focus is to connect with patients and their families personally, to gain their trust so I can make them feel safe and comfortable. While providing top-tier aid, assistance, service, encouragement, and companionship. I take this profession and these duties very seriously, thus making this more than just a job.

So I believe t seeing her I inherited my passion for caregiving. It is very touching to see the stages of life up close and how much of an impact it has on the human body. I have a passion for putting others first. Seeing someone with an intellectual disability able to lead a happy, safe and fulfilling life is enough to make it all worthwhile. In essence, it’s about making small changes to your everyday life to make major beneficial changes to someone with an intellectual disability. Seeing them respond to their new environment – and the care and love that shapes it - provokes a feeling that must be experienced to be believed. And there’s simply no reward quite like watching the smile emerge and hearing their laughter. I'm a single mother of two girls so taking care of ,an helping others come natural to me.

i think im a great caregiver because i enjoy helping people in general specially those that are in need, i became a care giver simply thats my calling i enjoy doing good deed, and i chosen this job simply because it put a smile on my face everytime i land a hand on anyone that needed a helping hands, any personal achievement of mine is the joy and happiness that witness to those that land a helping hands to and the smiles on my face afterward.

I'm very patient and I'm also a good communicator. I love to see joy and happiness on someone else face. I became a caregiver because I love people and I love to help. Been a caregiver have help me tremendously especially in my area of communication. It's just rewarding and I love it.

I'm compassionate, caring , friendly and most importantly I have lots of patience. I have always wanted to be a nurse/ caregiver, it is my passion and I love doing it. I enjoy the smile on my elderly face and knowing that they are happy comfortable and content with the care they received. I am most proud of one lady I had the pleasure of taking care of, when I first got to her she was depressed and on the verge of giving up on life but I was able to turn that around with just simply caring and just bringing joy fun and love back into her life, I took care of her for almost 2 years the family thought she wasn't going to live too much longer they even admitted her to hospice and when they hired me to care for her they could not believe how happy and healthy she had become.

I've always said I wanted to change lives. This particular job has gave me the opportunity to continuously meet the most courageous individuals while they battle a sickness, illness, etc. At their time of need of not being themselves we have to strive forward to be the best we can be for them. A personal achievement I am most proud of is knowing I made an impact or difference in even the slightest way. I'm a very energetic person, I love to laugh, talk about anything and everything, always looking for something to do.
