Hello, my name is Lisa I am 42 years old and have been a caregiver for a little over 13 years. I am truly compassionate in my duties. I became a caregiver after my grandmother passed away. She was placed in a facility and wasnt getting the care she needed so I spent the last 3 months taking care of her. I understand the importance to have someone who is reliable and understanding someone's needs. My biggest accomplishment so far is graduating college last year with my bachelor's of health services administration which allows me to continue to grow in health care. I am flexible and understand that schedules change based on the clients needs. Rate is negotiable

I am a great caregiver because I sincerely enjoying working with elderly people, and people with disabilities. The experience I have in caring for your loved one is: Compassion, companionship, patience, home management, meal preparation, errands, appointments, grocery shopping, medication reminders, maintaining a safe environment, assisting with bathing, dressing, and grooming. I am very passionate, and committed about what I do, as I feel the importance to treat seniors, the way I will one day want to be treated. Having empathy. I enjoy learning from the seniors I have been with, talking with them, and hearing their stories. Many of times, its never been a dull moment. I know the importance of a senior keeping their independence for as long as they can. Also, it's important to maintain their confidentiality, and be aware of their rights. I became a caregiver when I started taking care of an elderly great aunt.

I believe that I stand out as a great caregiver because of the empathy , patience, understanding and care I have for my patients , and being a good listener. I was attracted to healthcare because of the need for great loving caring caregivers that would put their patients, before self , and the need to help someone less fortunate , with knowing they have someone that care about their well being, and making a difference in lives. I enjoyed being a caregiver knowing that I can put a smile on terminally or critically ill person face and helping save life on trauma patients being brought to the Emergency room.
