After caring for my daughter with Rhabdomyo Sarcoma Cancer for some years I decided that "Medical Field "is most definitely for me,Some clients doesn't have a child or love one to give the care or love so that's why I decided to join this field I have a passion for sharing and Caring and companionship Since 2004 til present I have been caring for those with or without disabilities. I really love being able to help other people. I always treat my clients as if they were a family member of mine.

I started caring for both my parents but at different times when they were diagnosed with cancer yrs ago, my dad saw how I was with mom & from that time i also cared for him, he knew it was my calling & he was comfortable in my care. Then just within the past year I was able to care for my mother in law as well. I just feel compassionate about caring for others & it's such a rewarding experience everyday to know I'm making a difference in someone's life! The most rewarding experiences I recall is when new accomplishments are made & to see their faces show such excitement. There's always something to be thankful for at the end of the day,

I'm great at being a caregiver due to the fact I ALWAYS treat my patient as if they're my mom or dad!! Have taken care of dementia, hospice, cancer, assisted w/ bathing, getting dressed, housekeeping, dr. appointments, & meal prepping. I can promise you, your family will be well taken care of!! Been in medical field for 8 years!!!

I am a very caring person, and treating patients as family. I love taking care of people that is not able to take care of themselves. I enjoy putting smiles on the patient face and getting to know them personally, because it helps me to know what they like and don't like. What hurts them and what doesn't hurt. I'm proud of the things I've learned, wound care, feeding, repositioning, everything that is an addition of being CNA.

I'v been a care giver on and off for about 6 years. My very first experience as a care giver was with retired veterans with disabilities in Fairburn, Ga. I had the pleasure of doing that job for 5 years. I am currently working for an agency as a caregiver. I came back into this field because I know that God gave my the patience and a caring heart to provide the love and care for the people I care for. I know their is a shortage of caregivers, but I also know that their are too many elderly people that needs someone to take care of them. I love my job because, everyday I gain more experience about the different needs of each of my clients, and it drives me to extend myself to do more. My clients love me because they see that when caring for them I do it with love. I am a great fit for this job because I have the experience and patience that it takes to satisfy my clients needs.

Hi my name is Erin. Let me start by telling you why I got into this line of work to begin with. My dad is 60 yrs old now but in 2013 he was diagnosed with leukemia. He went through several rounds of chemo and then his bone marrow transplant. After a bone marrow transplant they give you medicine to keep you from rejecting the transplant. He was so sick and not getting any better. He began having siezures which lead the doctors to do more tests to find out why and when they did they found that he was allergic to the medicine and it had caused him to have several strokes. From there he went on to an acute care facility and to rehab but he was never the same. It left him paralyzed. While he was in and out if these facilities we saw so many things that were just wrong. Patients calling for nurses and the nurses never went to help. After that we took him home and mother and I learned to care for my father ourselves. After all that I decided I was going to go into home healthcare to care for people so that they didn't have to go to a nursing home because people deserve to be loved and cared for just like my father. This personal experience is what makes me a great caregiver.

I'm been giving personal care since 2010. I have my Associates Degree in applied science of occupational therapy assistant. Being employed in a skilled nursing facility doing geriatric care. Also, I have done home health since 2002. Providing care to all different patients with chronic conditions and including degenerative conditions, etc.

I had my own daycare for 20 years. I been taking care of children since my first brother was born when I was 6. Other people's children at age 13, newborn and a 12-year-olds. I have babysat or I have been a surrogate mother to many children when they needed it. Was a Foster Mom for many years. Love people, but have a special aptitude for children, elderly and handicapped.
