What makes me a great caregiver is being empathetic and sympathetic. One has to have compassion and understanding to work with patients and and the elderly. I have patience and tolerance which is also a necessary trait to understand what a person is going through. I am very reliable, dependable, trustworthy and take pride in my work as a Nursing Assistant. I have over 15 years experience working with the elderly and would not trade it. It makes me happy when i can naturally care for my patient and make them happy and comfortable. I do enjoy my job as a caregiver and working to the best of my ability.
