Hello, my name is Simone Marcelin. I am a caregiver of 20+ years. I am very flexible in terms of scheduling. I mainly took care of the elderly. I have escorted patients to their doctor appointments. I have helped with hygiene upkeep, and daily medication reminders. I do not have a car but I will soon. No worries as I utilize Lyft/Uber in the meantime. I am originally from Florida. I love a good conversation especially with someone I am going to take care of daily. I try my very best to care for those I've been fortunate to meet. Since I was raised from birth by my grandparents, who also took care of my handicapped mom since 10 years before my birth, I've had a lifetime of being in an environment of senior care and disabled care. Starting in high school, I had a larger role in caring for my grandad and mom with medical issues, and this role increased as my grandad had cancer and various treatments for it as well as increased hospital stays. I have a great, genuine desire to help people, and I'm skilled at it too. God has continued growing my skills of care and problem-solving as I continue caring for my 4 step-kids and husband, and my mom when needed. I also have 2 dogs and a cat, so I'm fine being around pets; I have a lot of previous experience caring for dogs, cats, and horses when working for families as a nanny.

A few years ago, my dear father became extremely ill and was going to need 24/7 medical and companion care. I unselfishly made an instant decision to quit my job at the time and prolong returning to school to take care of him. During this time, I learned a lot about myself as a person and patient care, thus confirming my dreams to pursue a career in the medical field. It also made my father and I's relationship blossom even more and I am forever grateful that I was able to be an integral part of his recovery. I am confident that I will provide a very comfortable, dignified, and enriching experience for your loved one. Be a caregiver isn't a job, it's becoming a put of the family. Deeply intuitive and sentimental. I'm emotionally and sensitive and I care about family and home. I'm very loyal and empathetic, able to empathize with your pain and suffering. Am quick to help others and avoid conflicts. One of my greatest strength is persistent determination. I don't have great ambitions, cause I am happy and content to have a loving family and tranquil and harmonious home.I take good care of other and treat them as family.

I have a calm personality, and I am a very giving person. I started as a caregiver when I was in my early teens. I took care of my childhood friend who had cancer, and also my grandmother, father, and mother. Being a caregiver is the most satisfying work I have ever experienced. When I see my client smile, it fills my heart. I am very proud to have raised my son and daughter who have both turned out to be positive role models for friends and both have a strong work ethic.
