I've been a CNA for 20 year's.I love doing what I do,i so get Senior's and get along very well with them.I really owe it all to my Parent's who instilled in me to alway's Respect your elder's.My father was really proud of me for being in this line of work.I did a lot for him up until he passed{2012}.I have received award's in Dementia/Alzheimer care,outstanding caregiver and employee of the month.I have learned a lot in my 20 year's and still learning.My client's show me every day how blessed i'am.

I can relate to them with different illnesses that I have been thought I treat them like there my family love people my mother did from cancer , I hated to see people being mistreat by other people and I was not able to help them that's why I came a HHA/CNA I get to meet new people and I lean a lot from them, I get to spend one one time with them. being able to bring joy, love, laughter, fun to people life.

I love to help people. In college I am beginning college for medical science. I will be attending IU Fort Wayne, this will be my first steps at my goal of becoming a doctor. I am currently working as a CNA at Lutheran Life villages, and I love my job. I love the connections and friendships I have made with the residents. I want to be a Home Health Aid so I can focus my skills on fewer residents at a time, to ensure they're getting the best care I can offer.

I have been a caregiver for 5+ years and I have worked in multiple health care fields with all different types of health issues. I have yet to run into something that I could not handle. Being a nurses assistant is what I do, I have thought about furthering my education multiple times but I keep coming down to the decision that I would not get that one on one time like I do now with my patients/residents. I am very proud of where this career as taken me and how my job makes me feel knowing I put a smile on someone's face and I was the person who was there for them when they didn't have someone to talk to. I am a very outgoing individual and I love to have fun with my co-workers and residents/patients. Everyday I go to work my number 1 goal is to make sure every single person I come in contact with get the best service I could provide with my experience and if I can not answer a question for them then I direct them where to go and also get educated on the answer myself for next time.

I originally became a cna to keep my auntie home when she was in stage 3 terminal pancreatic cancer she passed away in 2009 and I've been cna certified ever since . I wanted to become a caregiver because I helped with my grandpa before he passed and it made me want to help others. I am a Certified Nurses Assistant and have worked in a long term care facility for three years. I became a caregiver because I wanted to ensure that those I helped recieved impeccable quality of care as well as companionship. I enjoy working with people from all crossroads of life.
