I became a Caregiver thirteen years ago and I love making a difference in a person's life. I like being a caregiver and getting to know the clients and their families. I am proud of taking care of people and letting them know that they can depend on me. I use to work on a Oncology unit in a Hospital here in Marietta, Ga where I cared for a lot of chronically ill patients. I worked tirelessly making sure they were comfortable and not alone. The six years that I worked at this hospital gave me the experience and skills I needed to be able to care for individuals in their homes. I was born in West Virginia but was raised in Ohio. I moved to Austell Ga in 1986 and eventually moved to Powder Springs In 2011. To me there is nothing more fulfilling than being a caregiver because I am able to give of myself and give the best care that I can.

I've been a caregiver for over 20 yrs. I started at 19 yrs old, I'm now 43. What influenced me of caring for ppl is just the fact that I'm a natural born caregiver. I love taking care of the elderly and also the disabled. I don't look for an award for this, my reward is feeling good about being able too meet someone else's need.
