I have never been a a carefigver before. I have never been to someone's house & took care of someone. I would like to though because I think it can help me in the long run. I am studying to be a nurse, & I think this could definitely benefit me. I've always loved to help people, caring for others has always come naturally to me. I think to be a great caregiver, you have to be kind & compassionate. You have to really love what you do. Those people I always think they have such big hearts, nurses, too. To care for someone, out of the kindness of your heart. I think it's amazing. So what attracts me to being a caregiver is seeing others happy, makes me happy. If I'm helping someone, & I know I'm doing something good it gives me such a wonderful feeling that I know I just want to keep doing it. I can't say what I enjoy most about being a caregiver, but I know that I would love having to take care of someone and having them rely on me to help them with anything would bring me such joy. A personal achievement that I am proud of would be, graduating high school early, while suffering with migraines and anxiety. I have had it pretty rough, but I am still going, trying to become a nurse because I don't believe in giving up.

I've been a CNA for three years and plan to become a nurse. I have always enjoyed working with the elderly but prefer working one on one with individual families rather than in hospitals or nursing homes. I am very experienced, trustworthy, and caring. I am a great caregiver because I treat them like they are my family and how I would want someone to treat my family. I became a caregiver because I wanted to help with the everyday needs that they need assistance with.
