Hi , my name is Maleanna Battiste . I am a 21 year old black female . Im a caring and loving individual. I've been a certified nurses aid since 2020. I love to help others , so being a caregiver isn't hard for me at all . I enjoy being able to help others .

I became a caregiver when I had to step in and take care of a family member, who had a stroke. I like the fact that I was helping someone get rehabilitated while experiencing a miracle happen right before my eyes. I've been told that there should be hundreds more like myself, from just about every and anyone I have worked for and with. It's great feeling to have when you can go beyond others and your own expectations and receive certificates and rewards on how much people love you for what you do for their families. I became a CNA in 1998 and currently hold my certification. I'm also a Certified Pharmacy Technician and have been for 9 years and counting. I am a mother of 5 and wife.

I love helping people and making them smile and I feel like that's what makes me a great caregiver. My mother broke her hip and had nobody to take care of her and I became her caregiver. I took care of her for about a year and a half until she died. Since then I've been in this field and I love it . I enjoy helping my patients and making sure they are alright . It brings me joy that I know I've did something that probably made their day better. I've very proud of going to school and being able to do the thing that I love to do .

I've been a very caring person my whole life which makes me an excellent caregiver. I take my assignments serious and have been a CNA for three years. I've worked in geriatrics, rehabilitation, and pediatrics. I have a passion for helping people that need to be helped. I am very proud to be currently in nursing school .

I am compassionate, caring, loving and dependable. The client's need and safety is always first. I became a caregiver, because I have a passion to help people, especially the elderly. Knowing that i've added some comfort to their lives makes me glad I became a caregiver. I enjoy being around the elderly, because their lives blesses my life. Receiving a Caregiver of the Year award made me feel good inside, not because I received the award, but because that told me I was making a different.

I became a caregiver straight out of high school, I work with both children and the elderly . My grandmother recently passed away and taking care of her in her last days reminded me why I love what I do! I treat every and all clients/patients as if they were my relative, with the best of care

I love taking care of the elderly or disable because I never know hen I will become disable and need help from others and I am a compassionate loving person that love to take care of others. I am a single mom of an 8 year old little girl who i love dearly and I strive to raise her they I was raised to treat people the way you would want to be treated and always be honest

What makes me a great caregiver is I don't do my job for the money of it. I do my job because of the passion and love I have to help people. I feel that caring for someone who can't always care for themselves is a blessing and also a chance at making a difference in their life as well. I choose to become a caregiver because I lost my grandparents at an early age both my grandmother's at the age of 12, one of my grandfather's at the age of 18 and the other one past before I was born so I kind of grown attach to others and think of them as one of my own grandparents. May sound odd but that's where I find comfort working with the elderly mostly. I also have a son that has a learning disability, as well as behavior problems so I can understand and also have the patients to deal with people with disabilities. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is putting a smile on all my clients faces and showing them the amount of love and compassion that I do. Letting them know that they are what matters to me the most. My personal achievement that I am proud of is becoming a Certified Medical Assistant (CCMA), Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) and now I am currently working on becoming a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
