I became a caregiver because of my passion for the job as well as making a living. being a caregiver is a selfless act and it means giving your all to make your clients comfortable and happy. I have a singular aim of seeing myself grow in the health sector and always making my clients feel loved. My clients will say I am loving ,compassionate and dependable.

I'm humble, loving, caring and take my walk very seriously. I love to smile a lot and very patient with any body especially my clients. I don't mind in assisting to do domestic households work.

I have been working in the personal care profession for quite some time now. I am a compassionate person and enjoy caregiving very much. It gives me great satisfaction to think that I am of help to someone and the job actually enables me to make a difference daily in the lives of my clients. I am a sociable person with a natural capability of providing continuous care. Empathy is embedded in my personality and I’m a good listener. Being an experienced caregiver I am familiar with the job and immensely enjoy each day at work.

I became a caregiver in 2009 after seeing my Dad being sick at a Hospital and not treated well. I like being with other people. Especially older people are very fun to be with. I like the knowledge, empathy and understanding of an older person and I always fell good being with older people in general. I like the feeling helping older people in their daily activities. Its a huge pleasure to feel how they show their gratitude and appreciation when they are getting just a little helping hand in their daily life. I feel like I am a very organized person who like to make other peole feel good about them self. I am a Mom of three teenage daghters and I love spending time with them as well.

I became a caregiver solely on the simple fact of trying to be like my mother at first. But it was soon after I begin my first job at 17 years old that I found I really have a passion for helping people. The look of gratitude and appreciation that comes from the people you take care of surpasses any other amount of money or material satisfaction that I could have imagined. A lot of people chose to be in the health field because it pays well, but if you don't have a passion for what you are doing, it is pointless. I care for others as if they are my own family. I love to talk and get to know my clients so we can both come to a comfortable understanding of each other. A personal achievement of mine I am proud of is continuing to further my education. Education is key to understanding a lot about yourself. So I take much joy in my schooling. I am a junior at Coppin State and have been a GNA for the past three years. I love what I do!

I WAS VERY PROUD WHEN I TOOK CARE OF A HOSPICE PATIENT TO BE REMOVED FROM HOSPICE AND STARTED WALKING AGAIN. 4. I AM A VERY HARD WORKING PATIENT, ALWAYS ON TIME, GET ALONE WITH ALL KINDS OF PEOPLES, TEAM WORKER AND FAST.

Its always been my passion to take care of people.I love the idea of helping someone that cant do some things for himself/herself anymore.I have build great relationships with the people i have worked for.I am loving and trustworthy.

I became a caregiver to satisfy the needs of impaired people or in need. I like when I perform the needs of an impaired person. I was proud when I took some impaired people to the bathroom, feed them and make their beds in an assisted living at the time of my training. And they evaluated me as being a good caregiver. People say about me, " I'm a kind person". And I'm proud of it. I like to make people happy and also I'm open minded.

I have great compassion for people in general. I love to help others it's about giving back to the community. I have experience working with seniors and also children. One day I wish to open my own Assisted living home.

In my early years, I worked as a banker in a reputable company in Ghana and I was in charged of pensions that the government sends to the bank for pensioners. I became very close to them and developed an exceptional love for seniors. As a caregiver a like paying attention to everything around me especially the people who are in my care. l like helping seniors to have confidence in me and to assure them through the services l render that l will always be there for them.l complying with all laws in connection with any employment relationship. I have received a lot of trainings as a tool making me to work very efficiently and tirelessly. Some of the trainings have helped my working relationship with other caregivers as well as other colleagues from other departments. As a caregiver,l learn how to stay calm and be respectful. l have achieved going back to school and being on track and also enrolling my children in college. I am a 54 year old woman married with 3 children all in school.l have worked as a CNA for the past 10years taking care of seniors with many challenges. I am very energetic (physically) and compassionate in my services. I am a very lovely and very respectful. I love learning from whoever is prepare to teach me and l am a quick learner. l am very attentive and go extra mile in my services; especially to seniors. l love being a caregiver because l offer help to people in with dignity and help them to feel safe.
