What makes me a great caregiver is how I treat people with the respect and love they deserve. What attracted me to being a caregiver is my mom, i watched other people take care of her so I wanted to give the same love back to others who are in need. I became a caregiver after helping a friend with her mother 10 year's ago. I found it very rewarding. Since then I have cared for patients with Dementia/Alzeimer, Hospice, wheel Chair and Bed Bound patients.

I became a caregiver because i have a deep love and passion for taking care of those who have become unable to do so for themselves. I love being a caregiver because i enjoy be a blessing to the people i care for. I also feel blessed doing it. I love building close relationships with the people i care for along with their family's. Its an honor to do this type of work. I BECAME A CAREGIVER YEARS AGO AS A LIVE IN HOME HEALTH AID. MY HUSBAND TRAVELED ALOT AND I WOULD SEE HIM ONCE OR TWICE A MONTH, SO A JOB OPPORTUNITY CAME UP TO HELP PEOPLE IN NEED AND I REALY ENJOY IT. I WENT TO TEXAS CAREER INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY TO BE A CERTIFIED NURSE AID "CNA" AND GRADUATED WITH MY CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION. I LOVE WORKING WITH PEOPLE AND THE PEOPLE I WORK WITH, FAMILY, FRIENDS AND JUST PEOPLE IN GENERAL. Being a caregiver takes alot of patience, respect, and love to do this job. I love every minute of it, whether it's good or bad. I became a caregiver because I want to show most people love and intergrity and what's a better way to do so other than this job title. This is more than a job title this is part of me and who I am. When my great grandma got sick I was there by her side every step of the way until she passed. I want to be there for everyone and show them that theyre never alone!
