I love this job because I love to take care of elderly people and I have been doing it for a long time. These people are very amazing with great experience and I treat them with dignity and respect . I am a person with passion and I take my job seriously to assist my clients with their daily needs. I also play a major roll when it comes to team work . I always go to work on time and i make sure to complete my duties before my shift ends.

I became a caregiver because I love to serve and help the needy. Before I started a job as a caregiver, I volunteered at the Pre-Ops of Sinai hospital in Baltimore forsix (6) hours, 3 days a week.I care about people, I am a very loving and caring person, full of empathy and I am learning so much in this chosen career from my clients. I am full of joy, I love to sing, read them poems and sometimes we dance together. I love to dress them up. We play cards sometime and some of them watch their favorite game show on T.V and cooking is also a delight to me. I'm a great caregiver because of my ability to provide basic daily living services to my clients/residents with great respect of their rights and proper communication skills with clients with diverse disabilities. I always make sure to follow my clients/residents care plan or mindful instructions from my supervisor in providing the right cares at the right time. I became a caregiver because I had friends with some physical disabilities that I couldn't just standby without helping. Helping my friends helps me build a great passion and feelings that helping people with disabilities and old age folks is a right contribution to the society. I am a 53 year old female that has been in Healthcare for 20+ years. I am a certified nursing assistant. I truly enjoy working with people and this is definitely a passion of mine. I am married to a wonderful man and together we have raised two amazing children who are now young adults on their own. I lost my job of 8 years recently due to the company down sizing.
