I've been a CNA for 4.5 years and a caregiver for about 2 years. I did care for an elderly lady prior to being certified as a nursing assistant. I've done all activities such as bathing, eating, mobility, dressing, making beds, taking vital signs, etc

I am a certified nursing assistant and medical technician with highly organized, good emotional and professional skills. My interactions with clients/residents has given me so much experience in this field that i'm very willing to share and care for those in need of my services. Working as a nursing assistant for more than five years has been one of the greatest thing I have ever enjoyed in life and will like to pass onto others. I work really well individually, with a team and also got the ability to multitask.

I'm very much a people person & highly empathetic. I knew I wanted to be a caretaker/Nurse since high school working as a volunteer in local hospital. I come from a family of caretakers so it's in my genetics. I've done many aspects of caregiving from rooming patients in local clinic to skilled unit in nursing facility & Alzheimer's unit. I love geriatric care due to the respect I have for the elderly. They've earned it for surviving through hardships I've only read about & learned in history class, which brings me to the fact that they have the best stories to tell if able to. I take pride in my care & the bigger the challenge it is with not so happy clients/patients I manage to get them to open up a bit & do my best to turn there frown upside down raising there spirits up. I welcome new challenges & learning about something new especially if it helps my care towards my patient. Dementia/Alzheimer's care is my specialty.

I became a CNA in 2011. I had a son with CP and that led me to being a caregiver. I feel it's a very rewarding job and I enjoy working and helping people with there day to day living.

I have a 19 year professional background in providing care to people in assisted living, home care, long term, and rehabilitation facilities. I am skilled and experienced in; dementia care, hospice, mental and physical disabilities, chronic illnesses, rehabilitation, geriatric care, and infant care. I have a son who's 3 years old. I love the fact that you can take care of someone who needs you. You feel appreciated. I feel like i make a difference in there life when they have no one else. i love the one on one with that person. I want to show them there if your family isnt there you have me. I love that i can change lives. Me being in school and becoming pregnant and almost giving up but listening to God tell me i can make it and i received my high school diploma and I am now a community health worker as well as Cna. I am married and 25 years old and i have a son.In they year of 2013 i recieved my certificate for Community Health Worker and Certified Nursing Assistant.
