I also help with running errands, attending appointments and/or outings, companionship, preparing light meals, feeding and/or assistance with feeding, helping in daily exercises, medication administration, PT/OT task assistance, and more. I am skilled in all transfer techniques (hoyer/board/sit to stand/wheelchair/etc), manual bowel programs, quadriplegic care, stroke patient care, memory care, and care of developmental and intellectually challenged individuals to name a few. I would descibe myself as a highly empathetic, compassionate person, that has always been drawn to and found it very rewarding to care for others. That is why I am so passionate about the well being of my patients, being able to assist others so they can stay in their homes safely, with the confidence of knowing the person that is caring for them is not only prepared to take the necessary measures to aid them if any possible issues should arise but that their caregiver (myself) is not just doing a job, my patients know that I am a caregiver that really cares.

I have been a C.N.A for over five years now and I love what I do. I have a natural urge to help others. I am a great care giver because when I'm working with my clients I have empathy and compassion. I am a very patient caregiver I often times think of myself in the clients shoes and realize it may be hard to get help from someone else but remaining patient and kind helps the client to let their guard down a little. I'm a great caregiver I love caring for the older population,I got interested in home health care by taking care of a lovely lady from our church. I learned a lot from her! It made me want to continue in this field and continue my education and go back to school to learn how to be a clinical medical assistant.

I've been Care Giving for 7 years took care of my mom for 6. I've worked for a few agencies. Now I want to work privately. I'm a great caregiver because, I'm very compassionate about people. Especially the elderly. I became a caregiver because of my mother. She was a live-in. I did everything from paying bills, grocery shopping, Dr's. Appointments etc. Care Giving is in my blood. My grandmother was a caregiver before agencies were around. I suppose that's another reason why I'm looking to go private.
