What attracted me to being a caregiver is that I had the pleasure of help taking care of my great grandmother and my great great grandmother up until god called them home. I am a fourth year teacher working in a Self-Contained Autism classroom. I have previously worked as a special needs service provider for 3 years. I have provided Respite and In-Home Skill Building care for teens and preteens with Autism. During my student teaching experience, I worked with high school students with both physical and intellectual disabilities. This gave me experience in assisting with mobility limitations including bathroom and dressing assistance, as well as g-tube feeding. I am CPR certified.
