My "first career" consisted in working for the government for 18 years as a contacting officer, which I retired from in 2005. This did not fulfill my needs and passion to be in the healthcare community, which I always secretly longed to do. I pursued a education as a certified nursing assistant and have been in the healthcare field for 7 yrs. I especially love the diversity of taking care of all my patients. I am a great listener and have the passion and determination to treat everyone equally. I have a lot of patience and empathy and try to make all my patients as comfortable as possible. I will treat your loved ones as I would treat my own family. There is no other field of work that makes me feel as whole of a person as healthcare. I especially love to take care of the elderly, as they have so many interesting stories to tell of their lives. I have experience as a certified nursing assistant and a medical assistant., CPR qualified. There is no better feeling than being able to help someone and to make their day a little brighter.

I have become an caregiver to help people that are in need. I love helping people there is no greater feeling. i have worked in nursing homes and private homes. i currently work with hospice and ths is definately my calling

I am a honest, compassionate person with 11years of experience. I became a Caregiver because of my unique personality. I've been working as a sales associate, working odd hours and always tired, so one day I decided to get my certificate and become a CNA. Since then, I realize that I like working with old people. It makes me happy to know that I helped get ready for the day and together we do activities together all through out the day to enhance their life. It makes me smile at the end of the day to know that I helped and I am needed. Even if I am not making a lot of money I am satisfied and happy because I can help other people .

As a caregiver, I am very passionate about my jobs and strive to have the best relationship possible with my patients and their family. Being chronically ill myself, I was always intrigued with healthcare and providing support for others in need, but I also have a soft spot for the elderly which makes my job so rewarding. Hello, My name is Renee ,I have been a licensed CNA for over 22 years and recently received my certification as a RMA(Registered Medication Assistant).I initially started in the nursing field by taking care of my grandmother in her home for over 5 years prior to her death..At that time I felt that If I could take care of my grandmother and kept her happy, clean and safe ,I could do the same for your love one. I also Prepared all of her modified meals and reminded her to take all of her Medications on time. I believe in treating everyone with warmth,dignity and respect as I did for my grandmother.
