I have been a Certified Nursing Assistant with the State of North Carolina for 9 years. My certification is current. I am also BLS/CPR certified which is also current. I have worked in long term care settings as well as assisted living. I am very passionate about what I do. I love helping people and taking care of them when they can no longer care for themselves. I am compassionate and empathetic. I have a heart for nursing.

I became a caregiver because when I was young my grandmother had lung cancer really bad she was in and out of the hospital and I always wanted to be the one to take care of her. I also enjoy sitting and talking to people and listen to them and always wanting to help I have a very big heart. A personal achievement I'm proud of is getting my CNAs

I became a caregiver because I have always loved the medical field and also helping people. It is the most fulfilling job to have. This job humbles me daily for him to be so happy in his condition. I have taken up quickly and learnt a lot. That's my proudest accomplishment. One thing about me, very hard worker with the biggest heart you'll ever meet. I put everything into making sure he is taken care of, and happy. I always knew this was the field I was called to be in. I have worked with short-term, long-term, and dementia residents at a nursing home for close to three years. I have had the privilege of caring and meeting many incredible people to whom I have developed close relationships with throughout the years. I have helped many of my residents recover through rough post surgeries, as well be a constant friend when they have needed someone to talk to. I love caring for others and enjoy being a helping aide for those who can't help themselves anymore.

I became a caregiver at a young age, at 15 I began sitting with a lady while her husband would go out of town. And ever since then care giving has been a passion of mine. I love the stories they tell of their lives. I love being able to care for them and show them love. One of my biggest accomplishments is when I found myself taking care of a lady who seemed to hate everyone around her and didn't want me there to help her. So as I'd go in each morning it was a struggle, But I was determined that it was her illness that caused her to be this way and eventually she came to love me and my company. The staff at the facility where she was living were shocked that she had changed so much because of me and having someone there with her to help her.

I consider my self a A+ CNA I'm compassionate,caring,kind,loving CNA. I always make sure the client have the up most care. I do what ever it takes to provide that care.
