I'm Ghanaian.ive always being a caregiver helping my mom care for my little sibling and also my grandmother .after I came to the the I've taken care of a lot of elders for about 5 years now i also take care of my mom who has stroke.I given them a great care all family that I take care of their love ones love my work they always tell me they really love my how I handle patients with careI recently lost my job because my 97 year old patient passed a month ago. I assure family will love the work I do .I love caregiving job.i am very proud of what I do because of all the praises and credit family's give to me for the wonderful care I give to them .and als I never share family matters to anyone .i assure family I will keep everything private .

What makes me a great caregiver? I am a great caregiver because I have the heart for caring. Love to see people smile and make them happy. Even when they can't do for themselves make them feel as it is possible and we will work together to make possible even if I know it's not we all need to have a possible in there. What attracted me to being a caregiver? What attracted me to becoming a caregiver is my grandmother after taking care of her seeing her smile and feeling good she said I was blessed cause I have a smile that will light up a room and change a lot of moods. So I started looking into being a caregiver and when I got a job doing it it was nothing making me happier then seeing another family blessed to have a great passionate loving trustworthy caregiver. My personal achievement I am most proud of? My most achievement I am proud of is me graduating college it was hard and tuff for me but I stayed and graduated on time and it makes me proud I didn't give up or quit.

I became a care giver to help the elderly who can't care for them self or families that need help caring for family members. This job is very rewarding to know I made a difference in someone's life and to let them know someone cares. I have always worked with the elderly in my work field and always made myself available for anything they needed. I currently work as a chha for a hospice agency and a cna for a nursing home.

I have worked in a group home for the past four years. I enjoy working with the special needs population. I have also worked as a Home Health Aide taking care of an elderly lady with Alzheimer'. Worked in a preschools with special needs who were deaf and Autistic and found joy when they made progress in some learning skill.
