Hi, Growing up my siblings and I spent a lot of time at our grandmother's house. With my mom we helped clean, helped her shower, did her grocery shopping, etc. We did this for years until her health deteriorated to the point she had to go into a nursing home. That period of time was difficult for me because of things I saw, smelled, and heard. After my grandmother passed, I graduated high school and obtained my CNA license. I was determined to be great at my job. No one one wants to get sick or old but it happens to everyone. I want to do my part to make that period of life as comfortable as possible for whomever I'm caring for and their loved ones. I love the feeling of really helping someone who can't do it alone. It's gratifying knowing what I'm doing is really appreciated. I'm proud of my work ethic. I'm a great CNA because I truly care and I think that sets me apart because it's never just a job.
