Hello I tend to be more on the positive side like to see the person smile. Getting to know the person listening to the person telling me about the amazing life. I had a brother who passed from cancer and a mother who passed from dementia. After caring and helping both mother and brother I felt very compassionate for others. Spending time with the person listening to the life stories or experiences they've gone through. The person in my care having a Positive experience while in my care.

Caregiving is a very personal job, still I find ways to incorporate love, humor, cheerfulness, fun, hope, trust and optimism into my care. I look forward to building a close relationship with my clients as well as their family. I love that I get the opportunity to listen and learn about thier lives as it allows me to live vicariously through their many adventures, life accomplishments and travels. I find capturing their legacy most fascinating...respecting their dignity. Lastly and most importantly, meeting them when/where they need it most in their life's journey... be it a speedy recovery or their final chapter in the book of life.

My name is Gina Martinez I was born and raised in Pue lo Colrado. What got me interested in doing Home Care is watching my grandmother suffer from ALZHEIMER'S. We had the most kind, caring, compassionate , caregiver who was extremely helpful and very important to our family. She became extremely important to our family. Just seeing how helpful and needed she was to our family I decided I was going to help out elders from that day on, and ever since, I necame.a Care Provider and i love my job. Most of my clients have become my very bestfriend, and I am super close to them. I truly love each and everyone of my clients. They have become Such a big part of my life that I wouldn't change my job for anything. I wake up actually excited and happy to see and spend time with my clients. That is why I became a Caregiver because it truly has fulfilled my life tremendously in every which way and I beleive this is my calling from God.

I grew up helping seniors I knew and have always loved doing so. I love being needed and feeling like I am making their life better, happier, healthier. My personal achievements that I am proud of are my certifications within and around natural holistic modalities as Reiki, acuppressure ,aromatherapy,quantum frequency healing and behavioral health/ depression /panic attacks.

I can say I am a good caregiver because I love what I do. I want helping other individual and giving the best care I can share them.
