The love I have for people whom can't help themselves what has help me to be a great caregiver from working in daycares to working in private homes with other love ones. What attracted me to being a caregiver is my family gave care for years I watched my mother work in nursing homes to private duty nursing as a little girl growing up to have a heart. What I enjoy the most about caregiving is seeing a smile on there face just to know a stranger can care so much. I achieved a heart for people. I achieve growth in the company I work for also I went from working in the homes to working in the office. I was so proud of myself

I come from a family that cared for each other at home whenever necessary. Our family stayed at home and was cared for by other family members. I got the best lessons on caring for the vulnerable and elderly that way. I have been a caregiver for around 25 years and love going into the homes of people who need someone to take care of them in order for their lives to continue to function normally without disruptions in routine that would be debilitating to them. I am proud of giving my time and energy to help others lead a more fulfilling life when they are no longer able to accomplish that on their own. I'm a mother of 5 and grandmother to 13. I've worked as a caregiver for the last 15+ years and counting. I love my clients and working with the elderly. What started out as a job became second nature and probably alot of that has to do with my cultural background. I loved it so much, I paid for my own training and certifications to be an independent caregiver. I got bonded, insured and registered with the state and I have several great references from the loving families of those whom I have cared for over the years. I've had great experiences with those who I have worked for and with, along with learning from wonderful nurses and doctors that I've interacted with during the care of many of my clients. I am very proud of the achievements I've made in taking the initiative to learn as I go with each client, and each client came with various conditions and ailments, and some with multiple conditions. It has been a great journey of growth and connection for me like no other and I find it so fulfilling to be able to help our elderly population in need. They have been all like family.

15 years ago I was in desperate need of a caregiver for my mother. It was very difficult to find an honest, caring, trustworthy person to care for her. I went through several different caregivers, including a family friend that didn't work out for the job. I ended up quitting my job and caring for her till she died 9 years later. At this point in my life I want to be able to help someone that needs special care because I know the negative impact it can take on the entire family when the care of a loved one is not being met. I think the sick and elderly are at our mercy to care for them.

My personality is caring, observent, organized, and detail orientated. Which is a few, I love to make people laugh and talk positive about what a person can be better if they are willing to try. The reason that I have gone to school to take care of others which started with my grandmother getting very ill. I took care of her until she past away and continue the mission to make every day count that the person's life as well as mine. My expertise is working with mentally challenged, and physically. As a caregiver I can help out with a simple task as well as a difficult one. I do light housekeeping, cook, errands like grocery store and take to doctor's appointment. A caregiver that cares and goes above beyond of the duties to make the person being comfortable.
