I became a caregiver because I get joy from helping others, I can't see myself doing anything else. I love meeting new people and helping them meet personal goals, or just giving family members peace of mind knowing their loved one is being taken care of while they're away. A personal achievement I'm proud of is getting certified to become an STNA (State Tested Nursing Assistant) 2.5 years ago. I plan on going back to school to get my RN, and I believe that being a great caregiver will help me become a great nurse

I became a caregiver because my mother is a nurse and has been for 30 yrs. I have been in the health care profession for more the 10 years and have completed many training and earned my Medical Assistant Diploma from Sanford Brown College in Middle burg Heights. I became a State Tested Nursing Asst at the age of 19 . I have worked in Nursing home , Rehabs , Hospital and Doctors offices. I am currently Certified by the state of Ohio to Pass Medication and give Insulin injections. I enjoy taking care of people that are in need of help. It bring a true sense of joy to my life.

Being a caregiver for me started at a young age with my younger siblings and my grandmother. I always wanted to be a nurse some day! My career path never changed. I'm very compassionate and caring and I believe that's why this field chose me.
