I love to help others!!For 30years it has brought me joy to know that I do something everyday that puts a smile on an individuals face. I'm giving back what was given to me, at sometime or another we all need someone to care for us so its my duty to give back. Raising my kids and finishing school so i could do what i love. My name is Shantell. I am a proud mother of three wonderful adult children and blessed with three amazing grandchildren. I have been working in health care since a young age, starting off being a health care aide for my blind grandmother at the tender age of 8 years old. From there on I found my passion in life. During my years as working as a personal care aide, I had the opportunity to take care of my parents during their last days. In doing so, I was able to gain a personal insight on the importance of having the right person taking care of your loved ones, which gave me an even greater passion for the work I do. I realized the importance of giving each and every person who I take care of the same love and care as I gave my loved ones while taking care of them. As well as the respect and honor to have the opportunity to be a part of their life.

I've been professionally trained n have my degree in medical assistaing. I've been working in the mh/mr and with the elderly for about 18 years. I have a copy of my back ground check. I also have my state certificate in med passing. I'm trained in ALOT of things that have to do with carrying for your family member. plus I clean n cook. I am also enrolled in nursing school.

I am a Certified Medical Assistant with a BA in Business. I have extensive experience administering medications, injections, assisting and performing activities of daily living, companionship, meal prep, housekeeping, laundry, running errands, providing transportation and any other task needed to care for your loved one. I am CPR/AED/First Aide certified. I am a non-smoker so I am not willing to work in homes that anyone smokes inside of. I have experience with Diabetic's, Alzheimer's, Dementia and Parkinson's.
