I am prison to get long with. I have cpr and frist aid. I am a cna too. I am married and have 3 kids that live with me. I have 2 cats and 1 dog.

Growing up as a child I always wanted to be a nurse.I would always play doctor and nurse caring for my little friends.As I got older I followed my passion which is patient care ,and enrolled in a nursing program.I am a CNA,CPR Bls certified with over 8 years of caregiving experience in the vicinities of home,nursing homes also hospitals.I love to give back to others by helping and caring for them or even making myself available.

I have been a caregiver for many years. It is my passion. I enjoy helping people a great deal. My mother before me was a nurse, my grandmother before her was a nurse. I take my job very seriously and I excel at what I do. I understand what it means to put my client and their safety and priorities first.

I love working with elderly people because they are fun, sweet, understanding, and resourceful with offering advice. I love learning new things from them. I really enjoy listening to their stories from back in their younger days and how their children were as kids. I love when they smile and laugh its very interesting to both me and them. I miss my grandparents and working with seniors reminds me of them, they were very dear to me. I have a tendency of getting attached to them as though they were my own family. I love seeing them smile and I have a way of making them laugh. I love happiness. It makes me feel good knowing that the assistance and care that I provide for them keeps them satisfied and happy.

Throughout my profession, I learned the most significant lesson that can never be taught in a training; everyday life experiences. My name is Mike, and I grew up with my grandfather and aunt and witnessed personally their daily problems. I saw how tough life can be through simple things we often take for granted such as walking, doing laundry and preparing food. It gave me a reason and a purpose to help other families as well. As time passes, it's natural to be concerned for the well-being of our own and our family. I know for me, my grandfather's safety was important to me all the way to his last day from cancer. I know the importance of trusting the right person during their most difficult times in their life. I also have 10+ years of hands on work experience as a Direct Support Professional Caregiver and a College Student Caregiver / Note Taker. This provided me with greater experience working with people with various diagnoses and limitations. I sincerely hope that our time together here was worthwhile, and I can't wait to learn more about how I may assist and support you or a family member as your very own Personal Caregiver / Companion! I became a caregiver to help others and to give them something to look forward to. When you're sick a simple smile means a lot. What I like most about caregiving is the smile or thank you I get from my patients. And knowing I helped that person feel better. My personal achievement I'm most proud of is my education in healthcare and compassion for others. I am a very giving person and a very honest person. I'm also a hard worker and willing to please. Doing what's best for my patients is most rewarding for me. Knowing there are good and honest people out there willing to help.

What makes me a great caregiver is my bubbly personality and my willingness work! I became a caregiver when I was 19 because I grew up watching my mother and listening to how proud the job made her. I wanted a rewarding career like that so i went for it. I have achieved a lot in my 9 years as a caregiver and i am most proud of the diverse capabilities and experience i have in the medical field!

Raised by my grandmother, I developed the passion of caring for the elderly at a very young age. I worked closely with my grandmother and grandaunts with their daily activities. While in high school, I applied for summer jobs as a caregiver with companies such as home instead senior center and act agency. I enjoyed being around the elderly and providing assistance with daily living. I enjoy the knowledge I gained from interacting. With them on all levels and the stories I was told about life in general. I have been blessed to be in this field for over 10 years and have applied so much of what was passed on by my clients to various areas of life. I am currently a bachelors and masters degree holder in health education and I still find myself attracted to the field of home health and working with the elderly. From 2012 to 2015 , I was blessed to work in a live-in case with a lovely lady who recently passed away in March of 2015. Working with my client for three years, I lived with her and viewed her as more than just a client. She took the role of my late grandmother and I cared for her deeply. I am very passionate about caring for the seniors and I do it with so much pride. I hope to one day open my own home Health agency.

My greatest strength as a caregiver is the sincere compassion that I will devote to your loved one. My first experience in geriatric care came when my grandparents became ill and required a hospice nurse. Taking on that role allowed me to develop an intimate understanding of the personal needs of my patients, foremost among them being the dignity and respect with which I believe every human being has an inherent right to recieve throughout the later stages of life. I was honored to help facilitate a hospice plan that allowed my grandparents to live and ultimately pass away in the home that they shared together, regardless of their advanced illness. I am proud to say that I am staunchly committed to bringing the same level of dedicated quality of care to all of my patients. I treat each individual under my care as if they were my own family, and pledge to do more than simply attend to their physical and ambulatory needs - I always ensure that my charges are given attention and conversation; kept engaged in activities and pastimes that they enjoy in order to promote a happy and fulfilling lifestyle in spite of their individual limitations. Working with the elderly is a constant reminder to me that there's no acceptable reason that people shouldn't be empowered to live well and retain as much independence as possible as they age. I welcome any challenges that circumstances may present. I hope to be given the opportunity to devote my love and unwavering support to your loved one, to share my outgoing personality and love of life with them, to foster a safe and healthy environment for them, and to have fun as well!

I previously worked as a medical assistant in doctor's office. I had a special needs daughter that passed away and led me to a career in home health. I love helping people maintain their dignity and comfort by helping them stay in the comforts of their own home.
