Hello! I have over 25 years of experience in the medical field, and it runs in my family. I worked at Guardian homehealth Care for 8 years as a CNA. I met alot of wonderful people, and learned alot! I then went on to being a professional Caregiver to help families in need for themselves, or their loved ones to remain at home. I have been doing this for many years and absolutely love it! I treat the families as if they were my very own. I find this rewarding and it gives me joy to keep them active in every day living. I consider myself honest, reliable, and observant of the over all health. I have excellent references with local families I have helped in the past. I have been working as a caregiver for 14 years and I have not only followed the care plan for my clients, but I have gone beyond by sharing individual therapies that made the lives of each individual the very best that it could be. I have consistently understood the needs of my clients and have given their families a sense of assurance and confidence that they are well cared for when I am with them. I am a pleasant individual who can tackle all assignments and patient care activities with devotion and a smile.

I was so touched by the Hospice staff as they ministered not only to my husband but to me and the rest of my family! So, after my husband passed I became a CNA and have enjoyed doing this work! Meeting not only the physical needs but also the emotional and spiritual needs of the client and their loved ones. I have worked with clients with many and various physical needs. Once I have worked with a client we usually stay in touch. I am a Christian, I love my children and grandchildren (which are coming quickly now), I love animals and I love to stay active.... I would say my strength is: my ability to listen and make people feel comfortable and important.

I have been a C.N.A. since 1981 when I was 19 years old. I have always had a "soft spot" for the elderly/sick. I have worked in all areas of healthcare over the years, hospitals, home health, nursing facilities, geri/psych unit, hospice, private duty. I now own my own business, Quality Home Care, a non-medical home care. This is my calling and I am honored to help others in need.
