Caregiving came to me naturally in my younger years and I believe God has placed natural talents and gifts in all of us. I enjoy working with people and take my work seriously. I count it an honor to serve others and I hold myself accountable for the care I give others even how I communicate and relate to my clients and their families. I really do enjoy being a caregiver because I love to encourage others and to lift their hearts where I can. (I also believe that what goes around comes around and one day I may need someone to care for me and encourage me.) I am very proud of working in a hospital, learning to train the nursing staff on safety and patient handling techniques. I am now a single mom with children grown and living very productive lives. I am not married any longer so I have to restrictions on my time. I do prefer to work night shifts because I did this for many years as a single mom. (child care for 3 was cheaper this way so I have become accustom to working nights.) I do have very strong references upon request.
I am a highly qualified senior caregiver looking to assist and care for you and/or your loved ones. Memory care, Alzheimer's/Dementia, is an area most handled but I also offer companionship, light housekeeping, managing and medication reminders, incontinence care, feeding, bathing and grooming assistance plus a whole lot more. I am familiar with in home, skilled nursing, memory, assisted and independent living cares. I became a caregiver because I love helping people. I was raised to respect and cherish the sick and elderly at all times. I wanted and studied to be a doctor, but sometimes life gets in the way of our goals so care giving is my way of still helping in the healthcare field. I like seeing relief and satisfaction on client's faces when they are clean, their home is clean, they have a great meal and great company in their presence regularly. A personal achievement I am proud of is graduating high school with honors and making my parents proud. I attended business school, college and a university. Please take the time to contact me for all of your and/or your loved ones needs.

What makes a great caregiver is someone who has a passion to help other people and who also has empathy. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology and a minor in Social Work. I chose this field because I love helping other people. I feel that in the United States, our elderly are not properly taken care of and a lot of them are exploited, abused and ignored. I want to join a group of people that prevents this from happening. My mother has Alzheimer's and I have worked with the elderly in The Caring Place in Georgetown and I have a lot of compassion for people of all ages, but especially the elderly. I love learning from them and I look forward to working with them. I will treat your mom or dad like they were my own and I always give 200% in what I do. I am always on time and I am a very dedicated and motivated caregiver.
I began my caregiver career a little over 2yrs ago when I began working for a man with ALS. In such a short time I've gained experience and a better understanding of this disease. I don't pretend to know everything, but I pride myself in using the knowledge I have gained to help other families struggling with the "what nows" In addition to care I can also provide nutrition based on your dietary needs whether it's a blended diet given thru a feeding tube or simply meal prep for the week. I believe that a caregiver not only cares for the patient, but also the family. I'm patient, reliable, friendly, outgoing, trustworthy, and eager to help!
I became a caregiver because it is my gift. My professional career began 20 years ago in the healthcare industry. When I was 19 my husband suffered a massive stroke. I then learned being a caregiver was a second nature skill and desire. All of my clients appreciate that I am patient, compassionate, dependable and meticulous in the ways that I care for them. I live in the Austin area and have immediate availability. While I am not CNA certified, I do have all the nursing experience as well as nutrition and personal training. Blessings to you and your family.
I became a caregiver because I love caring for people. What I like about being a caregiver is that I can make sure the consumer is healthy and happy. A personal achievement that I'm proud of is that I made a difference in a consumer's life and made them happy and apart of my life. 1 thing about me is that I am outgoing a hard work and dependable with a heart of gold.
When I started out as a caregiver I looked forward to spending time with people who I knew I could share life with as I served and assisted them with daily living needs. It has been such a rewarding experience as I have been able to do this and gain the rewarding benefit of working for and with people. I enjoy the opportunity to be able to help others with their ADL's that they need assistance with and to see them perform tasks independently when they are able to. My patience, the time I spend with them, and my positive energy are a few of my strengths that also help me to succeed as a strong caregiver. I understand that every person is different and at a different stage or place in life. It is a joy for me to help a client and to share life with the people that I care for.
I have always had the passion to take care of people, i get told a lot that everything i do is in a natural way. I helped with the elderly since i was around 7 yrs old, I did volunteer service in my high school years. I have been a CNA for over a little 6 months, and I have met some wonderful people throughout my job. I enjoy to make them laugh, give them the company they need and give them back a little of what they gave their kids; care, companionship, and love. I love my job, and for me its more then only a job or a client/patient. And I am proud of what i do.

I became a caregiver to help others. I feel like we should treat others the way we would like to be treated. I am very patient and compassionate. I will stick up for my client no matter what. I am very dependable and attentive. I enjoy doing what I do and I love that I can bring sunshine into someone's life when they need it most.
I would be the best caregiver for you because I'm prompt, dependable, loving and caring but the best part of my job is seeing my clients smile... When I leave at the end of the day and my client are happy, I know I did my job... I'm no longer CNA certified but I have the experience and I guarantee you that the client will be in good hands...
What makes me a great caregiver is that I am able to relate to the needs of my clients base on individuality. I am very compassionate towards my clients. I try my very best to understand their needs and find a solution to it. I became a caregiver not only to help people who are at a disadvantage but rather because I care about people and enjoy being a part of their lives. For many years I've lived away from my father, but the moment I received a phone call that he had a stroke I dropped everything and went to care for him until he recovered. That alone shows how caring and concern I am about people who are unable to care for themselves. What I like about being a caregiver is the fact that I am able to bring a smile on the faces of my clients no matter what moods they are in for that particular day. I go to an extended mile to make sure that their needs are met and that they are taken good care of and happy. One personal achievement I am proud of is being able to graduate college. Both my parents are illiterate and for me to be the first out of four siblings to go to college and graduate was a very good accomplishment for me. And with what I have learned and experience I will continue to strive in what I love the most; that is helping people.
