Hello! My name is Beth. I am 37 years old & the mother to 2 boys (19 & 8). Throughout my entire life I have been referred to as an "old soul", often relating to & befriending folks over 60. I have always cherished what their generation has to share & what they've given to us. Listening to them recall their past & share advice is honestly the most rewarding bonus about being a caregiver! I truly believe caregiving was what I was called to do & I'm so thankful it's my passion! I have over 15 years of experience, mostly with seniors & working with Dementia/Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, & terminal illness. I assist my clients by providing companionship & help w/ bathing, dressing, meal prep, laundry, house keeping, dishes, meds, appts, shopping, transportation, scheduling, keeping care logs, & any other daily needs. I have experience working w/ the Hoyer lift & wheelchair (both manual & electric). I do my best to get clients up & around, keeping their blood flowing and muscles strong. I have been working in the healthcare field for 20yrs, and have work and all kinds of settings with many different clients and different stages of health. I became a caregiver because I like providing companionship and getting to know people. I like seeing positive results from my clients and their family. I am proud receiving my certification in Phlebotomy, EKG, and Patient Care Technician from the University of Texas at Arlington. I am certified in CPR and First Aid. I became a caregiver because I have always enjoyed helping people and find it rewarding. What I like about being a caregiver is knowing that I can make a difference in someone's life and the lasting relationships I build with those I care for. I currently have 24 yrs experience being a caregiver, mainly hands on experience with Alzheimer's, dementia, cancer, and paraplegic clients. I am a happy go lucky person full of energy and guaranteed to brighten your day no matter what. I do believe this is my calling in life.

I love being around people and I get along with everyone my best trait is making people laugh and smile. I am warm hearted and kind to my best of my knowledge. I have a lot of patients and have experience of taking care of special needs children and young adults because I have a daughter that has Down syndrome and a stepson that has autism.

I don't have patients I have new family members to care for. It's my effortless compassion to focus on him/her with love, kindness and a desire to learn their needs with adaptability. I became a caregiver because my loved ones (your family members) need to know someone cares and is fully committed to fulfilling their needs, as they deserve. What I enjoy about being a caregiver is restoring security, safety, and trust during our newfound relationship. One of my proudest personal achievements is when I realized I have the ability to love everyone. It takes a special someone to know they're here to serve others but to genuinely love and serve others is something that cannot be taught. I am that someone.

I'm not shy, I'm ready to work and get into the mix of things! I love helping people in any way, I'm so passionate about caring for others, that I'm making a career out of it! I love lifting people up, both emotionally and physically. I wouldn't trade the bond I share with others for the world! Additionally, an achievement I am proud of is kind of silly, but it was buying my very first car all by myself, with my hard earned money and time. I enjoy caregiving because it is very rewarding to have an opportunity of helping others in different stages of their lives. And 2 boy grand babies , my husband works in the oil and gas in the field mostly . We have our own business as well . I do love animals I have few of my own . My oldest animal is a dog and she's 13 years old . Live for my family as well I also help my mother out as needed . I'm hard worker any where I go.
