I pay attention to the people and try to be in their world do the things and activities they like to do. Have 12 years experience as a care giver and in training in Alzheimer's disease. I like gardening with them and doing activities that help them with their brain activity Taking walks playing games or puzzles . I don't have patients I have new family members to care for. It's my effortless compassion to focus on him/her with love, kindness and a desire to learn their needs with adaptability. I became a caregiver because my loved ones (your family members) need to know someone cares and is fully committed to fulfilling their needs, as they deserve. What I enjoy about being a caregiver is restoring security, safety, and trust during our newfound relationship. One of my proudest personal achievements is when I realized I have the ability to love everyone. It takes a special someone to know they're here to serve others but to genuinely love and serve others is something that cannot be taught. I am that someone.
